A wonderful modernist organic openwork brooch in plated pewter by the noted Canadian jeweler, Guy, (Gilles), Vidal. Measure 2 1/8" tall and 2" at the widest. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Has the GV maker's mark on the back. Fine condition. Great modernist design.

Chic and mod vintage bangle in seamless laminated off white Lucite and black Bakelite (the Bakelite tests positive with Simichrome). Circa 1970. From the estate of a New York socialite. 1 1/4 inches wide and 1/8 inch thick, and standard 2 1/2 inches inside diameter. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail. This impressive copper cuff features a Precolumbian-style face surrounded by two levels of hand-applied copper wirework. The round plaques supporting the central design, as well as the cuff band, have crimped edges. The band exhibits a textured surface and has retained its original shape. The entire bracelet appears to have been hardly worn, though does show some minor oxidation or light coloration from the construction process. Overall, the cuff has the deep brownish color of aged copper...

These highly decorative cuff links, made by Gorham Co. of Providence, RI, feature deeply embossed scrolls enhanced with green enamel paint. The bar on the back of one of the links looks to have been replaced, though it appears to be of the period. While the bar on one is marked sterling, the bar on the other appears to have been silver-plated, with most of the base metal now showing. All of the discs are marked on the reverse with the Gorham sterling mark, the 1898 date mark and the number 120...

The lady in this lovely bar pin is the quintessential Art Nouveau lady with abundant swirling tresses streaming away from her face. The 14 k gold pin has the typical construction of the period: solid back, old style round hinge, and classic C clasp. It is marked for 14 k gold and signed with the little collar button mark used by Krementz. The pin is 1 3/4" X 3/8". The Krementz company of Newark New Jersey was founded in 1866...

Lovely unusual glass beaded necklace with two sections of strung peach color faceted glass beads with a slight iridescent finish, and two sections of large matching peach color glass beads wired with large dark brass filigree stamped caps and large matching filigree stamped beads. The metal elements are probably French and the glass beads may be as well. Circa 1960 or 1970. This has been professionally restrung for security. 56 inches wearable length. The largest beads are 5/8 inch wide...

This is a Mexican Designer piece from a Maryland Estate. The FISH measures 1 3/4" X 1 15/16". Clearly marked METALES CASADOS on the back; good Heavier Silver Jewelry... not the flimsy material that abounds in the marketplace

This lovely American sterling silver and enamel cross exhibits an elaborately scrolled edge and vibrant green enamel. The cross and chain date from at least c. 1915 but could be older. The chain is original and made of flattened, rectangular links; there is no clasp. It tests definitively for silver. The enamel decoration on the cross is intact, and bears the usual minor flaws of handwork...

An abstract design, the pendant is set with what appears to be blue indicolite, which is a type of tourmaline, or blue jade. It is marked sterling on the reverse. The chain is composed of linked sterling edged rods, and is marked Italy and sterling on the flattened jump ring. One rod is slightly bent. The entire clasped necklace measures 18 inches long; the pendant is 3 inches long by 2 3/8 inches wide.

This is a Pair of Beautifully Designed SWEATER CLIPS by BERNICE GOODSPEED. Designed to hold a Sweater the Chain holds the Clips 5 1/2" apart. Marked on the back: B with STERLING clearly legible. Each measures 7/8" X 1 1/4". Date these circa 1950 and in Excellent Condition.

One of my favorite insect designs in the world of vintage Mexican silver jewelry, this “machine age” dragonfly is known as a Los Castillo creation yet here it is signed by a “less celebrated” Taxco maestro. What first attracted me to this creature is its “industrial”, perforated wings that make the dragonfly look more delicate but awe-inspiring at the same time. Carefully hand-crafted and perfectly finished, the brooch is decorated with three polished agate cabochons...

A sterling silver modernist brooch with a bezel set onyx stone cabochon by Joaquin Tinta of Ecuador. Depicts a stylized bird or rooster with a gemstone eye.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 7/8" high. Marked Ecuador, Tinta and Sterling on the back. The sterling mark has been double stamped. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

Has contrasting layers of polished and textured silver for an interesting effect.

An Arts and Crafts style sterling silver pendant necklace with an intricate etched design and a bezel set dark purple cabochon, (maybe Amethyst). The bezel is gold colored and may be 14K but untested.

A vintage modernist sterling silver pendant for a necklace or neck ring from Barcelona, Spain by Joyeria Puig Doria. Shaped like an exaggerated teardrop.

Measures about 3" long from the top of the bale and 1 3/8" at the widest.

Has a large bale so will accommodate a thick chain or neck ring.

Marked Made in Spain on the bale. Could not find a Puig Doria mark on this but it is a documented design.

Very nice condition, has some minor scratches and tarnish...
