Stunning statement vintage late 1960s necklace by Mimi di Niscemi for Brania, with many strands of translucent and opaque resin beads, and a huge decorative box slide clasp with very unusual glass rhinestones, prong set in goldtone metal. Marked BRANIA...

Here is an English-made whistle of copper-plated brass and base metal, that may have been made for the U.S. market. The front is labeled ‘The Acme/Boy Scouts’ with the English registration number for 1914, and ‘Patent’ underneath. The whistle itself measures a little under 3 inches long; the bale adds another 3/4 inch. Circumference is about 2 inches. Weight: 25.8 grams

This is typical fine work by Hobe. The leaves and bow are layered. The roses go a step further by having individual petals wrap to form a circle just as real roses do. The semi-triangular plaque with the rectangular bottom marked Hobe, sterling, 1/20 14k, indicates that this brooch is lovely older Hobe dating between 1918 and 1932. 3" long.1 1/2" wide. 1/2" deep.

Beginning in approximately 1943, due to the war, Coro limited the use of hard to obtain rhinestones and created many different sterling silver designs each utilizing one one central rhinestone.

This pin is 2 1/4". It is hallmarked Coro sterling.

A nice mid-Victorian early thermoplastic or vulcanite cameo brooch c1860-70. Made of the same medium brown thermoplastic used in the era for items such as photograph cases (and sometimes mis-described as gutta percha, and also known by the trade name of Vulcanite), this 1-7/8" x 1-1/2" brooch has fine detail, and it depicts a cameo of very high definition (she sits a full 3/8" above the surface platform)...

Large cast metal elements have Etruscan revival applied beading and wirework and are suspended from groups of metal chains. Spring ring clasp. Perfectly on trend with the glam, edgy look of the metals, chains, and studs which are all over the runways and fashion magazines. Wearable length is 19 inches. An attractive vintage Edwardian blue crystal and enamel filigree openwork sash brooch c1910. This 2-1/2" x 1-3/4" pin features blue claw-set cushion-cut crystal stones, a rectangular central blue crystal stone and flowers with white enamelling, all on an openwork dark coloured metal base...

Beautiful very long vintage 1920s necklace with graduated cherry amber Bakelite faceted translucent beads, strung in a continuous strand with no clasp. Tests positive for Bakelite with Simichrome. Great size -- 62 inches wearable length. The largest center bead is 22mm by 13mm and the smallest beads are 8mm by 6mm. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. Huge red pear shaped rhinestone eyes predominate on the rabbits face., His red enamel teeth give him a silly grin. The brooch is 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". Karu jewelry was produced by Kaufman & Rederman of New York.

The overall length of this necklace is 12". The chain however, is only 19" in length. The rhinestones are clear Swarovski crystals and brilliant. The necklace is gold filled.

Stunning vintage three strand necklace with large coral glass lampworked beads simulating coral, and green poured glass beads with white accents simulating carved jade. Also with ornate gilt metal filigree findings and large beads, and fine metal links. With a hook clasp with a flower. The glass beads and the filigree elements are characteristically French. Circa 1960. Wearable length is 19 1/2 inches. The center drops about 3 inches. Excellent condition...

This dome-shapesd Weiss butterfly is gorgeous. And enormous. It is very old Weiss, 1940's. Various shapes and sizes of rhinestones with a huge center cabachon, all prong set. Weiss oval plaque and copyright symbol on the back. Brooch is 4" wide, 4 1/2" high and 1" front to back.

This Trifari 'Alfred Philippe' gold pave and baguettes trotting horse pin is rhodium and gold plated base metal with rhinestones. It is marked Trifari with Crown, pat. pend. This pin is circa 1946. It is in excellent vintage condition. This Trifari trotting horse pin measures 1 3/4" by 1 15/16".

A Victorian fancy engraved rolled gold plate 1-3/4" x 1-1/8" cross with an applied belt buckle containing black enamel highlights, dating to c1870-80. The colour is slightly rose gold in appearance, and this ornate antique cross pendant is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a touch of wear to the extreme edges on the back and some minor roughness to the enamel...

Fabulous vintage beaded necklace in turquoise and jewel tone beads, circa 1965. Marked CADORO on an attached metal hang tag at the spring ring clasp. With seamless Lucite beads in two shades of turquoise, goldtone metal spacers and findings, and amazing huge poured glass beads in glowing jewel tones, including red, green, peach, cobalt, and amber. The glass beads are probably by the French maker Gripoix. The colors are more intense than the photos depict. A stunning statement necklace...

A lovely pair of signed Givenchy goldtone earrings. The hemispheric surmounts are worked in an open basketweave pattern, and the design is repeated on the dangling spheres. The workmanship is very nice and the timeless design can be worn with virtually anything. The clips are marked "Givenchy Paris New York".
