A fabulous glittering genuine cut steel necklace with an asymmetrical (negligee) double drop and a front hook closure. Circa 1910 - 1920. Probably French. The design is beautifully modern and forward looking. Twelve disks set with riveted cut steel stones, connected with chain links. Beautiful dimensional vintage pendant with a pale chartreuse adamite crystal stone, on a goldtone neckring. Circa 1960. The pendant is made of metal with a crackled gold finish, and is signed with a signature which I am not able to identify. A very distinctive modernist piece which is totally on trend. Crystal, agate, and geode stones in natural forms are being featured in many current jewelry collections this year.

Fabulous vintage beaded necklace in turquoise and jewel tone beads, circa 1965. Marked CADORO on an attached metal hang tag at the spring ring clasp. With seamless Lucite beads in two shades of turquoise, goldtone metal spacers and findings, and amazing huge poured glass beads in glowing jewel tones, including red, green, peach, cobalt, and amber. An amazing and rare saphiret glass demi parure consisting of a necklace and matching clip back earrings. Marked KRAMER OF NY. Circa 1960. An outstanding find from a Philadelphia estate. Saphiret glass is a unique color changing art glass which was originally developed by the Victorians and was used off and on throughout the 20th century. A signed Danecraft sterling silver 16-1/4" long and 1/2" wide necklace and the matching 2" x 1-3/8" brooch, both with an acorn and oak leaf motif. Each is gilt, and the necklace has a gilt silver or brass spring-ring catch and the pin has a safety catch. Outstanding vintage Art Deco/Retro Moderne horse form figural brooch in ebonized carved wood with inlaid silver detail. Circa 1945. Unsigned, most likely by Elzac Inc., which produced jewelry from materials such as ceramic, Lucite, fur, feathers, cloth, and wood during World War II when other materials were in short supply.

This 1-5/8" x 1-3/8" pin features a twist border and an inset photograph of two attractive young men with a celluloid window; it is retained by a metal backing plate with folded tabs. 3.5" in length and 2.5" wide, this is a magnificent signed Butler & Wilson brooch. Swarovski crystal pave and creamy faux pearls accentuate the traditional poodle cut. The ears swing freely. The mounting is rhodium plated.

This signed Butler & Wilson brooch was created in the 1980's. Swarovski crystals are prong set into a rhodium plated casting. The piece measures approximately 3" x 2.5" and is in excellent condition.

Here is an interesting modern, Finnish bracelet. It is made up of 6 slightly convex links with the ridged and textured design so characteristic of Sarpaneva. It is marked, “BRONZE FINLAND P. SARPANEVA.” It measures 7 1/4” long x 1/2” wide. The safety chain adds a nice touch. The bracelet has good heft and is in excellent condition.

This elegant depiction of a Wiener Dog is c. late 1940’s. The sterling silver vermeil and marcasites compliment the beautiful ropetwist, open wirework of the body. The ear is set with marcasites, as is the eye. The back is marked “ALICE CAVINESS” and “STERLING GERMANY” on applied plaques. The pin measures 2” (from snout to tail) x 1/2". This wonderful piece is in excellent condition.

Signed and numbered, this bold, modernist, suite is c. 1960’s. It is by the Danish designer Jorgen Jensen: best known for his work with pewter. The radiant, matching disks are concave and convex with a textured, sunburst design. The screwback earrings are marked, “PEWTER,” “Jorgen Jensen” (in script: his maker’s mark), “DENMARK 75 A.” They have a diameter of 7/8”. The huge pendant / medallion is also marked, “PEWTER Jorgen Jensen DENMARK,” but, is numbered “57.” ...
