A very attractive pair of silver cufflinks inlaid with various hardstones by noted Navajo artist Jim Harrison. The curved faces are inlaid with turquoise, coral, lapis, sugilite, onyx and malachite in a contemporary interpretation of timeless Navajo designs. Harrison is considered a pioneer of contemporary Native America inlaid jewelry and his work is held in several museum collections. Each cufflink is signed "Jim Harrison" and is marked "Sterling".

An unusual pair of Art Deco cufflinks, the faces featuring cabochon cut aventurine glass (goldstone) set in 18K yellow gold bezels. The faces are connected by gold chains to torpedo backs, also worked in aventurine glass. Aventurine glass was invented in Venice in the 1600s, and enjoyed a resurgence of popularity in the 1920s. The mountings are stamped with French 18K gold marks and an unidentified maker's mark.

A classic pair of Edwardian almandite garnet cufflinks, the oval gemstones set simply in 18K yellow gold collet settings. The faces are attached by chains to torpedo backs. The garnets are of nice quality, having a slightly more orange coloring than is typical of almandite--nearly in the color range for spessartite garnet. Tested and guaranteed 18K.

The heavy gold faces are decorated with parallel lines and the canted edges are bead-set with brilliant round-cut diamonds. The diamonds are of very good quality, estimated at I color, VS clarity.     Little squared pieces of very luminescent black opal doublet make up this beautiful pair of 14k cufflinks, c.1950's. Of good size, they each measure 13/16" by 9/16" and are signed "14K".
