A good pair of pre-War Mexican silver cufflinks in a traditional strapwork motif. The square faces are joined to spherical backs. The surface retains an attractive old patina. One cufflink is marked “Sterling Taxco”, thus pre-dating the eagle system of marks introduced in 1948.

A very uncommon pair of 14K yellow gold stirrup-style flip-up cufflinks, with one face of each set with a golf-themed reverse-carved Essex crystal. The golfers depicted in each crystal are wearing old-fashioned golf clothing. These are the first Essex cufflinks we’ve encountered in the flip-up style. The connectors are stamped “14Kâ€. They are likely by Krementz or Larter.

A superb pair of double-sided Art Deco silver cufflinks by E. Besseire & Cie. The hexagonal faces are decorated with red, green and black blocks of opaque champlevé enamels highlighted with silver shield-shaped and squiggle accents. The faces are connected bychains. The backs of each face are marked with Besseire’s maker’s mark and with assay marks for silver.

An interesting pair of American sterling silver Art Deco cufflinks, each face featuring a stylized leaf. The design has a deeply three-dimensional sculptural quality. The design appears to be in the Skonvirke style--the Scandinavian expression of Art Nouveau, but the cufflinks are definitely American. The back of each face is signed "NAE" or "MAE" and the toggles are marked "Sterling".

This is a fabulous pair of vintage sterling silver stylized sombrero hat-form toggle back cufflinks, handcrafted and highly detailed including an eagle symbol at the hat base and the word MEXICO above it, even the proper indented points on the sides of the hat, marked 925, maker's mark and ALRACA, Circa 1930's. A handsome pair of Retro 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces bordered with an interesting detail that resembles coil springs. The plain gold bar in the middle of each face could be monogrammed, but fortunately, they never were. Each cufflink is fully stamped with French 18K gold hallmarks and an unidentified master goldsmith’s mark.

A reminder to be timely, this novelty pair of Art Deco milk glass and rhinestone toggle back cufflinks features a circular clock face with four rhinestones depicting the quarter hour, raised dial with black detailing framed in gold, unmarked, American, Circa 1930. An unusual pair of Art Deco cufflinks, the faces featuring cabochon cut aventurine glass (goldstone) set in 18K yellow gold bezels. The faces are connected by gold chains to torpedo backs, also worked in aventurine glass. Aventurine glass was invented in Venice in the 1600s, and enjoyed a resurgence of popularity in the 1920s. The mountings are stamped with French 18K gold marks and an unidentified maker's mark.

This is a reverse painted pair of cuff links set in unmarked gold plate on sterling with a double sided racing scene depicting a jockey on horseback jumping a gate, finely hand painted enamel on mother of pearl encased in crystal, English. Measurements: 5/8 in long x 1/4 in wide. The design is in excellent condition, wear to the gold on sides and the shank and jump ring on the back.
