These cuff links feature nice spinach jade buttons with beveled edges. Two of them are decorated with a central pearl; both pairs feature 14kt gold bridge bars and connecting rings. The hardware is unmarked. Each button measures 3/8 inch across.

A pair of double-sided cufflinks, the faces fashioned from navette-shaped plaques of lapis lazuli simply set in 14K yellow gold. The coloring is very even, with no hint of white in the stone. The lapis has an unusual matte finish which provides a sophisticated look. Tested and guaranteed 14K.

An interesting pair of 18K yellow gold baton style cufflinks, the faces set with oval blue sapphires. The sapphires are bezel-set for a clean, classic look. The sapphires have a strong, dark blue color and do not show signs of heat treatment. The toggle backs are stamped with French 18K gold marks.

A handsome pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the heavy oval faces gypsy-set with variously cut fancy colored sapphires. One cufflink features a medium-tone blue sapphire in a radiant cut, flanked by two round brilliant cut sapphires—one a pale greyish-blue and the other an orangy-yellow. A rare and very interesting pair of flip-up stirrup cufflinks in 14K yellow gold by Carrington. Each end of the connectors are fitted with a green nephrite jade cabochon. This style was popularized by Cartier, and this is the only we’ve seen by the great American maker, Carrington. The use of nephrite is most unusual, as well, instead of the more common onyx or dark blue sapphire. Each cufflink is stamped with Carrington’s 14K hallmark.

Reminiscent of machine-age design, these mid-century silver cuff links are composed of applied semi-circular bars spanning the width of a flat, rectangular bar. The anchor bars are flat, plain panels with hinges. They are marked 830, with the maker’s mark of Eiler & MarlØe of Copenhagen (1920-1967). They measure 1 inch long by a little over ¼ inch wide at the areas where the curved bars are attached. Total weight: 18 grams

These cuff links are formed as gnarled bark, and appear to have a surface of light copper luster. They bear the mark of Pentti Sarpeneva of Finland (1925-1973), who worked primarily in bold designs during the 1950s and 1960s. The cuff links are securely hinged and measure 1 inch long by ½ inch wide.

These oval undecorated sterling cuff links feature undecorated convex centers and recessed edges. They bear the mark of Link & Angell, a premier cuff link maker in Newark, NJ; they date c. 1910. The cuff links are of a good quality with securely soldered bridge links. Each button measures ¾ inch long by ½ inch wide. Weight: 6.7grams total

These 1920s two-sided cuff links are nicely decorated, with molded circular centers reminiscent of engine-turned engraving and black enameled, eight-sided borders. They are marked sterling on the backs and the buttons are securely connected with soldered bridge links. Each measures ½ inch wide. Weight 5.6 grams

Each longitudinal button is embossed with a Nordic sailing scene; there is engine-turned engraving lengthwise on the smaller buttons. The hinged bridge bars indicate the maker as Elvik & Co., of Oslo, and silver content of 830; the cuff links date c. 1960. The larger buttons measure just over 1 inch long by just under ½ inch wide. Weight: 8.5 grams total

These cuff links are composed of forged-wire bands that have been hand-formed into pinwheel shapes and anchor bars with curled ends. The anchor bars are marked sterling and are secured to the buttons with a soldered figure-eight link; the cuff links exhibit tool marks from working the silver. They are probably from the 1950s. The pinwheels measure about 11/16 inch across; the anchor bars measure 1 inch long. Weight: 9.7 grams total

The rich look of these cuff links comes from the intricate engine-turned engraving and deeply embossed scrolled, vine-like borders. The backs exhibit securely soldered split bridge bars connected to domed anchor buttons known as bean backs. The bridge bars bear the mark for 14kt gold and what looks to be the maker’s mark of M.B. Bryant & Co., New York (1896-1915). There are tiny dots of tarnish on the fronts of both cuff links. Each rectangular button measures 5/8 inch by ½ inch...

These 1920s cuff links are beautifully enameled in dark blue on a white ground; elaborate carved designs show through the enamel. Each button is edged with embossed sterling silver scrolls. Embedded vertical silver lines run down the center of the white ground and frame the blue diamond-shaped reserves. These cuff links exhibit both a sturdy look and construction. They were probably produced for the tourist trade by different silversmiths in the same workshop, as each is slightly different from the other, mostly in the fins. The backs of one linked pair indicates the maker M. Velazquez; all are marked Sterling/Made in Mexico in the pre-1950s style. The back rings connect to short bridge chains; one rings is slightly bent but there is no damage or metal stress...
