Lovely GEORGIAN inscribed gold mourning brooch with pearls, black enamel, and braided hair covered by crystal. It says on the back "FANNY LEONORA KAYE DIED MAY 26th 1847 AGED 14 YEARS" in beautiful script. There are letters in gold on the black enamel surrounding the pearls and braided hair. A vintage late Victorian (unmarked but tested) 9k yellow gold 1-1/4 x 7/8" hair locket c1880s. This pendant features a rose gold bale and wirework surrounding the S monogram. It has a compartment on the back for containing hair, and it weighs 3.2 grams. This item is in good condition with no bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than two small edge dents and the missing glass window with retainer on the back...

A lovely late Victorian 18K gold locket, the front and back covers worked in a stippled texture with engine-turned engraving along the borders. The front is further enhanced with a spray of vivid blue forget-me-nots and green foliage. In Victorian flower language, forget-me-nots symbolized true love or the desire to be remembered—either one a very fitting sentiment for a locket. The back cover has a monogram reserve that was never engraved...

A classic Victorian fancy double belcher chain link necklace composed of interlocking fluted and ropetwist links in 14K gold. The fluted links enhances the reflections in the gold, so they offer a more reflective quality that contrasts nicely with the ropetwist links. Go back in time with this beautiful bracelet. The focal point is an intricately engraved 14 karat Victorian box catch from the end of the 19th century. Two rows of curb chain sandwich a central row of a texturized fancy link chain. These 14 karat chains may be of the same age as the large clasp or may have been added later, in the 1920’s. The catch is engraved with the initials SGR and the whole bracelet measures approximately 7 ½ inches long.

A Victorian 18K gentleman's chrysoprase signet seal ring, fully hallmarked for London, England 1860 1861. This antique size 5-1/2 or 5.5yellow gold ring has an inset green stone which measures 1/2" x 3/8" . The initials are carved en intaglio and are either PG or GP, and this Victorian ring has a CG&S maker's mark...

This charming 14 k gold pin is an homage to a moment in American history. The Daughters of Liberty was formed ~1766, shortly after the Sons of Liberty. This group of brave women boycotted British products and made use of traditional women's skills such as weaving and spinning, to support the cause of liberty. The pin bears an enameled flag, initials, the number five, and the date 1860. It is 1 X 1/1/2" in size.

A 12k rose gold shell cameo brooch pendant circa 1870-80. This 1-1/2 x 1-1/4" pin pendant features a maiden carved out of a yellowish-grey shell; it is bezel-mounted in the gold setting (unmarked but tested (both 12k and 15k gold were used as part of the United Kingdom gold standard until 1932). A classic Victorian 14K yellow gold fob seal, the surfaces ornately decorated in a repousse pattern of flowers and foliage. Fobs in this design are more typically English than American. It is very generously sized to make an impression when being worn. The citrine plaque is engraved with the monogram “WKV”, so we’ll just assume that was for William K Vanderbilt (LOL!) A Victorian 14k black onyx and pearl round brooch in yellow gold circa 1880s. This unmarked ~1" across brooch has been tested to verify gold content, and the black onyx and pearl are genuine. It weighs 5.9 grams and it is in mostly excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a scratch to the back on the onyx and some very tiny edge nicks on the front...

A 15k almandine garnets & pearls ring from the 1840-50 era. This is a vintage mid-Victorian period ring in 15k yellow gold, with almandine garnets and natural pearls c1840-50. This size 7-1/2 ring measures 1/2" x 7/16" across the top which has oval-shaped natural half pearls and a combination of cabachon and cushion-cut and mine-cut almandine garnets. This ring tests as 15k gold, and it has been re-hooped, resulting in the loss of any original hallmarks (if ever present)...

This lovely pin is 14 k gold. The very Victorian motif of hearts on a crescent is outlined in seed pearls. It is hallmarked but the mark is incomplete; the marks for Birmingham and England are present, along with an unidentified mark. There is no date stamp but the 2" wide pin appears to be circa 1890.

These lovely earrings are from about 1870. They are English made in 15k yellow gold. They have an enameled star motif accented with rose cut diamonds in the center of each star. They have a beautiful twisted gold border that encircles the bottom part. They measure approximately 1.5" in length and 11/16" at their widest. They have approximately .20cttw of rose cut diamonds. They are in excellent condition and the overall weight of the pair is 12.6 grams.
