According to the poem, Thursday's Child has "far to go" so Ruser depicted the naked child walking along a natural freshwater pearl carrying a traveling sack of belongings. This classic jewel consists of a circle of gold, enameled in cobalt blue, with gold highlights. A 3-looped bow is interlaced through it, decorated with tiny seed pearls, as are the bail and dropper. There are a couple very minor flaws in the enamel - invisible without magnification. It is stamped for 15kt gold, and the gold has that lovely rich color we rarely see these days. There is a place on the back where it looks as though someone made a repair, but of course it’s not visible when worn...

The Game of Thrones comes to mind when you look at this vintage 14Kt yellow gold, garnet and pearl cluster ring. The center is an eight millimeter high luster pink tinted bezel set cultured half pearl, and the six 8 X 6 millimeter oval faceted bezel set garnets encircle the pearl. The diameter of the ring is 26 millimeters, which is slightly larger than 1”. The ring is a size 6 ½ and it can easily be sized.
