This bar pin is an original period piece from the 1920’s. The top is made of 14Kt white gold and the bottom is yellow gold. The open filigree work is typical of the above mentioned period. This beautifully executed 18 Kt yellow gold brooch from the 1960’s depicts two darling poodles standing at attention with a mischievous sparkle in their natural ruby and sapphire eyes. Their matching enameled collars add a touch of color to the richness of the textured gold. The brooch measures 1 ¼ inches wide and 1 inch tall. On the reverse side, there is a diamond-shaped hallmark stamped with a B in an oval with 18Kt and 750 marked on either side.
