This sophisticated, cleanly designed ring features an onyx cabochon mounted in the center of a carnelian disc, set in 14kt gold. Both stones are in lovely condition; the gold band is unmarked, but has been tested for gold content. The ring dates from the 1960s, and has a classy, "mod" look that reads mid- to late 1960s. The setting measures about 3/4 inch in diameter and about 1/4 inch high. The ring is a size 6 1/2-7.

A fine handmade Victorian 18K yellow gold necklace with an extraordinary length of 46 inches. Alternating links are decorated with a twisted rope motif. The necklace is has a spring ring clasp at one end and a tension pendant clasp at the other, so it can be worn full-length or doubled, with or without an pendant. A lovely Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold brooch in the form of an iris blossom superimposed over a sinous heart-shaped outline by Krementz. The iris is beautifully finished in thick, colorful enamels that have been built up in layers to lend greater three-dimensionality than is usual. The leaves are finished in the translucent enamels more typically seen in Krementz pieces. The center of the blossom features a row of bright, old European cut diamonds. This late 19th-century hinged bangle is a real beauty. It’s made of 14-karat gold, set with 18 half-pearls that are enhanced with cobalt-blue enamel. The back of the bracelet is simply decorated with a raised, thin gold band that terminates at both ends with a figure-8. Both rims have recesses along the edges all the way around. The tongue and groove clasp is very secure; a gold security chain with a spring-ring catch is a later addition. The maker’s mark of MC&Co...
