Handsome Victorian 10K yellow gold ring in the form of two lion’s claws grasping a large old European cut garnet. The detail in the setting is excellent and the gold has a slightly rosy tint that contrasts nicely with the red stone. The garnet has a lively red color and excellent clarity. This indescribable set dates to about 1870 and is in amazing condition. It is crafted of 18k yellow gold frames and backings with enamel accents. The centerpieces are depictions of birds crafted of actual bird feathers and set behind what is most likely a piece of rock crystal. They are truly little pieces of art! All three of the birds are different and there is no damage to be found anywhere...

This fine belt buckle measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/4". The top portion is 14K gold and the rest is sterling silver. It is slightly convex. I was unable to get a good picture of the top, because of a lighting reflection. It is marked 14K and STERLING with the CROSS maker's mark. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

Circa 1900, this lovely pendant is 18k yellow gold with diamonds and a hanging pearl. The white metal portion on the face is silver. It was probably originally a brooch but the pin back has been removed so it hangs flawlessly as a pendant. It comes on a newer chain that is 14k yellow gold. Antique English Victorian long necklace with a watch clip in 9 karat gold. Late 19th century. The clip was used to hold items such as lorgnettes and watches, or to thread through a muff so it could be worn around the neck, falling at or below the waist. An unusually large Art Nouveau enameled violet pin /pendant worked in opaque white and purple shades over 18K gold. The petals are arranged around an old mine cut diamond (I/J; SI1). In Victorian flower symbology, purple violets conveyed the sentiment "modesty" and white violets conveyed "innocence." A classic Venetian Etruscan 18K gold charm set with oval amethysts. The gold surfaces are ornately worked with rosettes, beaded and rope-twist decoration. These are very unusual! We have only seen one other pair with photos, and those were not gold. Each cuff link features a photograph of an elegant lady in a high-necked blouse with upswept hair. This pair was clearly worn a lot, based on the patina, but they still look great. The 10k marks are on the back of the fronts only, not on the “torpedo” ends.
