A striking necklace with three suspended mixed metals pendants by Winifred Mason Chenet, who was an African American woman hand crafting jewelry in Greenwich Village. She reportedly worked with and trained Art Smith, a well respected African American modernist jeweler.

A vintage hand made large pendant in an abstract design reminiscent of the work of Jack Boyd in bronze or brass.
The pendant is attached to the neck ring with two round connectors with balls at each end. Measures 5 1/2" long including the connectors and 4 1/4" at the widest. It is slightly curved so lays nicely when worn, not too heavy.
Neck ring measures about 15" around with an opening of 1 3/4". There is some flexibility to adjust the size.
Has some tarnish.

Has a box push in closure which holds securely and a safety chain. Marked Bronze, P. S. and Finland on the back of the clasp. Nice contrast of dark and light surfaces. Fine condition, classic design. 1960's.

In nice condition with some minor tarnish and scratches. Cool mod design!

The brooch measures 2 3/4" long and 2" high.
Marked on the back with this firm's triangular cypher. It is in fine condition with verdigris in the recesses. It has a secure 'C' clasp.
