A pair of Taxco, Mexico Sterling Silver earrings with Tortoise Shell by William Spratling. The marks on these earrings date them to 1949-1956.

Measure 1" across. Marked on the back of one earring with the conjoined Script WS and 925.

Screw backs hold securely. Fine condition. Tortoise shell is a warm, honey brown color. Have some tarnish and minor scratches...

The hand carved obsidian face mask has a gold sheen which is glowing and gorgeous, and exquisitely detailed, with dangling coral earrings. Stone measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2", with a depth of 3/4"...

Design 5161 is a Margot de Taxco masterpiece of beads and swirls. Hallmarked correctly as shown with a 100 gram weight showing off quality repousse and a generous 18 inch wearable length. The drop is constructed with 3 links which measures an expansive 7 in. It leads up the neck without intrusion to the sides of the neck. It makes a perfect silhouette and lays in a well thought out manner...

Large mixed metal fish pin by Rafael Dominguez, Mexico, 1943. Primarily made of 960 silver, there are copper and brass inset accents "marrying" the metals. Wonderful pin measures 3 3/8" long by 2 1/8" wide and is signed "RD 960". In excellent condition but there is some separation where silver is married to the one brass accent(see photo #2)......$11 for insured US shipping.

Hallmarks date this William Spratling brick link bracelet to 1940-1944. This design is shown on the Spratling Silver website. It's a hand-wrought bracelet which feels like silk on the wrist. A stunning Margot De Taxco # 5258 matching necklace and bracelet set. The necklace entails a 5 inch inside diameter, 16 inch total length, and a 120 gram weight. Circa mid-century, this belt buckle is collector quality. It's a huge and heavy piece produced by Antonio Pineda, using his "Lascaux" design. Referred to as Lascaux because it is thought that he was inspired from the ancient cave drawings of Lascaux, France. Pineda had a series of pieces with this design, including pendant necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and pin. I've not had this particular buckle before, but it is spectacular. Executed in almost pure 97% silver...

Excellent vintage Sigi sterling and jasper bangle with two hinges. Marked SIGI, STERLING, HECHO EN MEXICO, and with design number 244. C. 1960. This piece is pictured on page 198 of "Mexican Silver" by Morrill and Berk. With a slide clasp and safety catch. Substantial at 71 grams/2.5 ounces. An outstanding mid-century modern piece.

A classic design for renowned Taxco modernist Enrique Ledesma, this set of vintage sterling silver Mexican mid-century earrings comes with clips and is set with green inlay, possibly azur-malachite or some kind of agate. There is nothing fussy about the pair - good, honest materials, clarify of form and fluidity of lines...

This is a lovely 3-piece suite of earrings and a brooch, circa 1940's. The earrings and brooch have 3 layers of petals / leaves. The top of each one surrounds the turquoise stone. The earrings are screwback and measure 1/4" x 1/4" (x 1/2" high, from the lowest petal to the top of the stone). Each earring is marked SILVER MEXICO. The brooch displays 6 smaller stones with the same floral design with the top petals enveloping the stones. It measures 1 5/8" x 3/8" (x 1/4") and marked STERLING.

Monumental sterling cuff bracelet with a beautiful design of twisted silver loops and arched terminals by Mexican designer Carmen Beckmann. Unique and rare handmade sterling studio piece of "drinking man" pendant by SIGI, Mexico. Design shows a naked man drinking from a bottle with wonderful detail and measures 2" long by 1" wide . Very dimensional and made of solid heavy gauge silver. Has large handmade loop for chain. It is signed "SIGI 925 MEX" and the SIGI mark is hand scribed in script. Fine sterling and black enamel cuff links. They measure just under 1" x just under 1" x 1/8". The sterling swirls are a nice accent. The back of each is marked BETO TAXCO and ? in a circle with 925 in the middle. They also have the eagle mark with 3. They have good heft. A tiny piece of the sterling swirl is "pinched." I am listing another stunning Mexican Silver clamper bracelet produced by Gerardo Lopez who was renown for beautiful vintage repousse in Taxco, Mexico. Made of thick silver weighing 71 grams and having a 3 inch tall presence this bracelet fits most with a 2 3/8th inch inner diameter. Bears a deep natural patina. No dents or damage and also has a strong spring. Definitely a collectors jewel.
