Margot Van Voorhies signed design # 5513 is a large bracelet measuring 1.5in. tall with a royal presence. It is an airy design but constructed with thick silver repousse and weighing in at 62 grams of heft. The length is 7.5in. There is no damage of any kind and has a natural patina. One of Margot de Taxco's best!

There is a 10in span of 3 drops and 2 additional links connected to chain and a thick silver hook. The necklace has a wearable length of 17in. Each drop is a dramatic 2.5in. long and the silver to the links is also thick and made with precision repousse. With a hallmark of STERLING MEXICO and no dents or damage anywhere we have a very smart presence to enjoy. The weight is 52 grams which is heavy considering the 7 inches of chain. A versatile piece just, LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Signed with the conjoined HA, Taxco and 940 for better than sterling silver. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949).

Measures 3 1/2" across and 3 1/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. The brooch has some minor tarnish and surface scratches.

Strong, unique & one of his most desirable creations this 970 sterling silver cuff was designed & signed in the 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). A rare heavy sterling silver brooch by William Spratling, Taxco. Measures 2 3/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. Marked with the WS in a circle incised mark, Silver Mexico and 925. Has a slight dent to the center and is missing the rollover part of the clasp. A rare find for the collector.

Da'maso Gallegos is known for quality in craftsmanship. The silver is thick repousse with a fit like a true pectoral that tips forward allowing more room for fitting. Iconic hand wrought sterling silver & amethyst butterfly or moth brooch designed & signed c. 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Pin measures 2 3/4 inches across & weighs 27 grams. This beautifully detailed wearable work of art is in excellent condition. Pictured on p. 44 of MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill & Carole Berk. Spratling designs are included in many permanent museum collections including Museum of Fine Art Boston & Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

This necklace exhibits a strong presence. A dark amethyst stone glows in strong light and has no chips, damage or cracks. The wearable is 16.5 inches and you can hook it in to any of the chain length to shorten. The silver is very thick and is a wonderful example of folk style repousse. Puffy and not exactly symmetrical is what makes the magic happen when you put this on. The drop is 4.5 inches across and 3 in. down. Just beautiful, LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Spratling Brooch Pendant which bears the first phase marks as shown is an iconic design from the Mexican Silver Renaissance. All the amethyst have the teat shape which is the original cut for the stones. There is no chips or cracks to the stones. It is a 3 inch circumference and has a weight of 71 grams. This is a substancial piece. It can be worn to clasp a shawl and hold considerable weight. Add your own chain and thread it thru the barrels and have a necklace!
