This stunning bracelet by Felipe Martinez has the most gorgeous Azur-Malachite stones in vivid shades of blue and green set in thick sculped links. Measures 6 5/8" long by 1" wide and weighs 76.7 grams. Hallmarked "Piedra y Plata, Martinez, Sterling, Taxco, 175" and the eagle 3. No damage noted, it has a secure clasp and attached safety chain. Martinez was known for his superb lapidary skills and this beautiful bracelet is a wonderful example of his work.

Circa mid-century, this quatrefoil pendant necklace is the work of "JVL". This master silversmith produced work for Antonio Pineda. I have had this exact design cosigned with both "JVL" and the Antonio Pineda crown hallmark. This necklace is not stamped with the Antonio crown hallmark, but the quality and craftsmanship are identical to the Antonio. The pendant is exquisitely hand-wrought, with four thick onyx half moons surrounding a complex silver design...

This great, large Taxco Mexico mod pendant / brooch measures 3" x 2 1/8". It has a cool geo shape with three dangles. It is sterling silver with inlaid azur-malachite: blues and greens. The back is signed with all hallmarks: STERLING TAXCO, AC, Cecilia in script, HECHO EN MEXICO, Tono in script and numbered 80. This lovely, colorful pendant and/or pin in excellent condition.

Bold pendant earrings with a deeply oxidized design of stylized animal faces. The panels are impressed with the design, and there is a bit of wear to the oxidation, but the effect is still striking. The panels also have a graceful curve, which also enhances the design. There is no maker’s mark; one screw back shows a mark of 980 Taxco, the other, sterling/Taxco/Mexico. The entire length of the earring, including the rounded top, is a little over 2 inches. Weight: 13.5 grams

These gorgeous earrings each display two oval amethyst flower cabs, stemming out of leaves. They measure 1 1/2" long x 7/8" from leaf to leaf. The back of one is marked MEXICO STERLING. They are in excellent condition.

This graceful sterling silver ring is formed as a stylized snake with an impressed band starting at the head and tapering to the tail. The impressed area is nicely oxidized and decorated with contrasting circular elements, one of which serves as the snake's eye. The patina is soft and is nicely enhanced by the oxidation. The inside of the ring bears the partial marks for sterling, Mexico and its maker, the preeminent Taxco workshop of Los Ballesteros. The ring is sized to a 7 scant...

These stunning Antonio Pineda Amethyst Earrings have a Modernist style with a elongated tapered tube of silver with a cone shaped amethyst stone set to dangle at the bottom. They measure 3" long and together they weigh 26.6 grams. Hallmarked with the Antonio Crown on one and the eagle 17 on the other (marks are a bit faint and impossible to get a good picture). The screw backs function well and there is only light wear and tarnish, no damage noted. Chic and elegant with timeless style.

One of the most energetic Taxco modernists, Sigi Pineda enjoyed a long, creative career. Prolific and ever “on the move”, he was at his best working within the confines of minimalist design. Sigi rarely used “unnecessary” ornamentation, depending more on fluidity of lines to imply motion, colored stones to impart texture, oxidation to add dimension to what are mostly flat surfaces in his jewelry. A vintage brooch by Taxco artisan Enrique Ledesma with a sterling silver overlay on a shell background. There are two small round inlays of copper.

Measures 2 1/2" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Marked on the back with a partial Ledesma, Taxco, 925, and an Eagle mark. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely.

Fine condition with some tarnish. The shell is a deep brown with lots of swirls.

Rare design.

This lovely, sterling silver, Mexican, well-crafted bracelet displays shiny, turquoise cabochons on each ornate link. It is 6 3/4" long. Each convex link measures approximately 1 1/4" x 1". It has a box clasp marked STERLING 925, and, in a circle on the back of one of the links: TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO (blurry) with the an illegible mark in the middle. It has a V-spring and Box Clasp marked STERLING 925. It has good heft, weighing just under 1 1/2 ounces and is in great condition.

An amazing 970 silver necklace with crescent shaped bezel set onyx cabochons in a cascading design by Antonio Pineda.

This necklace measures about 16 1/4" around with a diameter of about 5". Drops down in front about 2 1/2". Each crescent is about 1 5/8" across.

Has a secure box clasp.

Marked with 970, Pineda Crown, Silver, Hecho en Mexico, Eagle 17 and style number YY 456.

Has some tarnish and minor signs of wear. The stones feel smooth with only one tiny flake to one point...

This great ring is adjustable in size. It features a central, 18 karat gold Mexican character, surrounded by sterling silver and a colorful Mexican motif in enamel. The top is slightly convex and measures 1" x 3/4". It is marked 18K and 925. It is in excellent condition.

From his third design period, this design is shown on the Spratling Silver website. Described as "round urns with three feet of silver and obsidian". A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver earrings by Antonio Pineda, Taxco with onyx cabochons in the well known 'Comma' design.

These earrings have some very minor dings to the edges, surface scratches and some tarnish...

This sterling bracelet features a sophisticated design influenced by the ancient Americas, composed of rectangular, scrolled links. They are securely connected by curled elements that have retained their shape. The bracelet shows hardly any wear and has a nice heft. The hook clasp is in good working condition and bears an Eagle 1 mark for sterling with a circular mark for Taxco and maker’s intials of MP. The bracelet measures 7 ½ inches long by ½ inch wide. An attractive vintage sterling silver 2" brooch or pin from Mexico with a large engraved flower on a turquoise and resin ground c1960s. The engraved edge and flower are well done, and the ground has inlaid turquoise half-circles against a deep blue resin base. This pin has a loop to allow it to be worn as a pendant, it has a safety catch, and it weighs a substantial 18.8 grams. It is stamped 925 MEXICO PLATA with EGB and it has a 4 eagle mark...
