Modernist handmade sterling ring made in London, 1972. It is signed "lion passant leopard's head r(1972) WM(D)". Maker is WM(D)and size is 6 3/4. This is an unusual design for England.....$10 for insured USA shipping plus applicable NY tax.
Modernist domed enamel bird by Madeline Turner, c.1940's, who studied the enamel process with Karl Drerup. This hand made piece is one of a series by Madeline Turner and can be made into a pin by adding a metal frame. The enamel colors are white, turquoise, dark blue, and green. Of good size, it measures 2 1/8" wide by 1 3/8" high. Unsigned and purchased from a close family friend. Condition is perfect. Turner also designed for Tiffany and Georg Jensen, USA...
Sterling modernist bracelet by C. Ruopoli, c.1940's. Seven link bracelet measures 7 3/4" long by 5/8" wide with oxydized background and raised shiny silver design. Signed "BY C. Unmarked unsigned tested sterling silver pendant necklace with old spring ring closure. Unsigned maybe Arts Crafts or Art Deco era, yet mostly hand made in the Modernism and Arts Crafts tradition. The hand wrought "cage like" pendant holds a 9mm undrilled jade jadeite or nephrite orb then ends with a chain tassel for a total of 1.5".
The 17" chain ends in a pesky old style spring ring clasp that is marked sterling. Needs a good polishing...
Unsigned unmarked yet tested bright red, may be higher than sterling silver and could be an Arts Crafts, Art Deco or Modernist Studio Ring with 3/4" bezel set Carnelian looking cab at size 6 3/4 yet your jeweler could resize.
Top is 1 1/8 X 7/8 and is unpolished.
There is some silver that was never 'cleaned up'...
