These delicate sterling silver pendant earrings have scrolled frames supporting small teardrops. They are designed in the tradition of solje jewelry from Norway. These earrings are marked only 925 on the screw backs; there are no other markings. They measure about 2 ¼ inches long by 1/2 inch wide. Weight: 7.7 grams

Whimsical kinetic sterling silver ring by Erik Granit. Finland, 1950s. Marked with several hallmarks, along with "57, 925 STERLING FINLAND, ER GRANIT CO DESIGN JEWELERS" excellent condition. Size 6.25 (measures 5/8" across the inside).

This unusual silver lariat necklace draws on its Nordic roots with a twisted, notched spike at each end in the Viking manner. It is quite a versatile design and a sophisticated look; the strands can be knotted or draped, worn long or doubled. The chain itself is composed of doubled links, each with two perpendicular rings. The chain has a yet-unidentified maker’s mark, with a Norwegian silver mark of 830S. From end to end, the necklace measures about 46 ¼ inches long, including the terminals...

This unusual sterling silver ring features a curved disc with applied molten strands of silver forming an organic dome. The inside of the disc exhibits a volcanic finish. The band is sturdy, and bears possibly a Danish mark of 925S, as well as an unidentified maker’s mark. The ring is a size 7. It measures 1 inch long, 1 inch wide, and about 1 1/8 inches high. This sterling silver ring features a ‘taco’-like folded design with a zigzag band inside sitting on its edge. The inside of the folded piece has been deeply oxidized with a translucent finish. The ring exhibits various kinds of tool marks. The ring is possibly Norwegian, with a mark of 925S inside the band; there are also maker’s initials of JPC, possibly for Danish silversmith Jens Peter Clausen of Copenhagen (1973-1981). This .830 silver bracelet is made of five delicate, decorative chains that hang comfortably around the wrist. It is secured by a tongue-and-groove clasp that bears an unidentified maker’s mark of M.S. with a triangular mark, as well as the mark 830 S, possibly for Norway. The bracelet measures about 7 inches long and ¾ inch wide. Weight: 17.4 grams

This ornate sterling silver disk pin, by Norwegian maker Ivar T. Holth, is gilded and features an intricate wirework design. It is applied to a scalloped disk of white guilloched enamel and dates from the 1960s-1970s. It appears to have been hardly worn, with a light tarnishing of the gilt that can be addressed with a cloth cleaning. Striking mid-20th Century modernist sterling and rock crystal Ring by K.E. Palmberg, who was chief designer for the leading Swedish company Alton in the 1950s. Matching bracelet and pendant currently available separately.

Large and heavy cocktail ring in silver plate, with a large rose quartz cabochon. The top of the ring stands .75" above the thick shank. Maked "J Hull." Currently a size 8, but fully adjustable. In good condition with wear and loss to the silver plating. The rose quartz stone has natural inclusions.

Unique and audacious showpiece ring by Jens Asby of Copenhagen, Denmark, circa 1970s. The design is striking, as is all the work by this famed silversmith. The large, deep blue stone is held by an interesting bracket which is integral to the design. This open-ended sterling silver ring can be adjusted. The large stone (sodalite?) measures approx 1-1/8" by 5/8". The approximage current size is 7. In excellent condition...

These earrings are made of roughly cast concave oval discs. Each drop hangs from a rosette-shaped top and swings freely. Due to the casting process, there are slight differences in darkness among the pieces: The tops exhibit darker oxidation than the drops, and there is a slight difference in shade between the earrings in general. The surface has a brushed finish. The screw backs are marked S835, with an unidentified maker’s mark of what looks like I.Bh. They are probably Norwegian...

A rare, delicately hammered dress clip by the well known Danish silversmith, Erik Magnussen. After working at Gorham and having his own shops in Chicago and New York, he opened a shop in Hollywood and designed for the stars. Returned to Denmark in 1939. This clip measures 1 3/4" long and 1 3/8" across. Marked with the conjoined EM monogram, Sterling, ERIK M. and Hollywood. Spring in clips still holds. Could be converted to a brooch or worn on a chain or neck ring as is...

Formed as palm fronds, with one folded toward the back, this simple pin was designed by Gertrud Engel for Anton Michelsen. It bears the ‘Rougie’ mark on the back, which likely refers to the design or the collection line. Engel specialized in naturalistic designs based on Danish coastal flora. This pin has a secure rollover clasp and measures 2 1/8 inches long by 1 inch wide. An identical pin is pictured in Ginger Moro's book "European Designer Jewelry." Weight: 5.3 grams

Typically innovative design from revered Finnish company Kupitaank Kulta. This unusual sterling silver tension setting suspends a complex moss agate cube over a sterling dish.

Marked with the Kulta 'anvil' hallmark, and "925S" for silver fineness. The pendant measures a large 2" x 7/8" and weighs 21.8 grams. Excellent condition.

Sterling silver cuff bracelet by Danish designer Arne Johansen set with a raised mounted square paua, or abalone, shell, which shimmers with iridescent greens and blues. The top portion of this incredible ring measures 1" in diameter. The ring towers to 1/4" above the finger.

Size 8. Signed "AJ Denmark, 925S." Good vintage condition. Some impact marks and wear to two sides of the table, the worst of which is shown in the photos.
