This is a superb modernist bird pin from Antonio Pineda. It's large, dimensional, and substantial, with tiny beading and an obsidian eye. A design which is seldom seen, and collector quality. This Mexican silver necklace weighs 65 grams and is 16in. long with each tulip being 1 1/8th inches tall. It is double signed as shown with TSL. Each tulip has hand made partitions that form the flower. Next the Maestro makes a tiny bead ball and centers it as the stamen to the bottom of the hanging flower. This was an intricate number of steps to build each flower alone and not to mention the swirl of the stem that attaches to the necklace...

This graceful sterling silver ring is formed as a stylized snake with an impressed band starting at the head and tapering to the tail. The impressed area is nicely oxidized and decorated with contrasting circular elements, one of which serves as the snake's eye. The patina is soft and is nicely enhanced by the oxidation. This interesting handmade pin is composed of thin interwoven silver rods that evoke an unfinished piece of textile. It is sturdy and the secure pin stem and clasp are applied so as to wear the piece on a diagonal. On the back is an applied plaque bearing the mark for Mexico and 925 for sterling, and an unidentified serpentine mark that looks to have been struck twice. The piece is possibly from the 1960s or early 1970s. It measures 2 inches by 2 inches square. Weight: 21.2 grams

This famous duette has 2 bluebirds perched on 2 flowering grapevines. The birds are hand painted with enamel colors. All of the crystals have been faceted by hand. This pre-1948 bracelet from Fred Davis is collector quality and a larger than life showpiece.

Composed of five huge oval amethyst cabochons framed within silver, the panels have a geometric design inspired by pre-Columbian clay stamps which Davis collected.

Margot Van Voorhies signed design # 5513 is a large bracelet measuring 1.5in. tall with a royal presence. It is an airy design but constructed with thick silver repousse and weighing in at 62 grams of heft. The length is 7.5in. There is no damage of any kind and has a natural patina. One of Margot de Taxco's best!

I am very partial to hinged bangle bracelets - you get the best of both worlds with them! - and I am very attracted to the Portuguese repousse examples. Signed by Topazio, the country’s foremost manufacturer of silver holloware and decorative items, there is something quite “regal” about this piece. Surrounded by scrolls and foliate motifs the dominant design here is a royal crown...

This delicate link bracelet features four oval cabochons, each prong-set in a decorative sterling frame. Sterling openwork panels, each set with a single marcasite, connect the frames. The ornate settings give the piece a more formal feel than Deco; possibly this dates later, perhaps the 1950s. The spring-ring clasp is secure, and is marked sterling; one of the connecting panels is also marked sterling on the back. The bracelet measures about 7¼ inches long by about 5/8 inch wide.

These modernist earrings feature polished, irregular-shaped composite turquoise drops attached to serpentine pieces of forged sterling silver wire, secured by curled ends. They hang from commercial screw backs that are marked (and test positively for) sterling silver and are in excellent working condition. The earrings measure approximately 2 1/4 in. long. They are otherwise unmarked.

These earrings a slightly convex and have a diameter of 1”. They are incised with a decorative, floral display. They are marked STERLING and have good heft.

This spectacular sterling silver and shell cuff was designed circa 1950's by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. The cuff measures 1 1/2" at the widest point in the center front. Mexico City Folkloric style was made popular by Matilde Poulat but there were other noted Maestros also producing stunning jewels of this style. P.OCHOA is one of those artists that I look for. The silver is thick repousse with unique skilled carving to the tops. This bracelet listed shows off a green oval stone in the center of a 1 5/8ths inches high center medallion. The weight is 70 grams and with No damage. Correctly signed as shown.

A vintage modernist sterling silver bracelet by Hans Hansen, Denmark, designed by Karl Gustav Hansen with heart shaped links. This bracelet is design #237 and has the larger hearts and the earlier closure. This design was often additionally hallmarked with the Georg Jensen mark.

Measures 6 3/4" long and about 7/8" at the widest. The convex hearts curve slightly so the bracelet lays nicely on the wrist.

A very well crafted pair of sterling silver earrings and matching pendant, each with a prong set rose quartz stone. We especially like how the prongs are formed from folding pieces of the main parts. Pendant measures 2 1/2" long and 1 3/4" across. Would look nice on a chain or neck ring. Screw back earrings measure 1 3/8" high and 1 1/8" across. Screw backs are marked T2 and Sterling. They hold securely. Very nice condition, warm patina. Great modernist design.

An Arts and Crafts hammered sterling silver ring with a green bezel set cabochon by the Odd Krafters Shop of Chicago.

Stone measures 3/8" in diameter. May be Chrysoprase. Measures about a size 6 and can be adjusted slightly due to the overlapping band.

Marked on the back with OKS, Hand Made, and Sterling. The 'S' is partially struck. Mark is behind the part of the ring where the stone is so it could resized without disturbing it.

A vintage modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet by Danish silversmith, Palle Bisgaard in a tiered curved shape. His torque necklace, part of this same line is included in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is the widest version of this cuff, with an extra tier at the bottom edge.

Measures about 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1" and 3/4" at the widest. There does not appear to be much give so it is better for an average to slender wrist.
