Look carefully at the full underside of the bracelet for the clear but spread apart (hard to get all in one photo) hallmarks revealing AP, an eagle 22 and sterling Mexico for Abraham Paz. This maestro made many of the pieces for Fred Davis and this is one of those designs produced for him. He added more special cut stones on the sides of this piece than the other lion bracelets. This bracelet was signed and crafted by Enrique Ledesma with obsidian stones. Ledesma was known during the Spratling era to be expert at the stone inlay work. This bracelet is one inch tall and 7 inches. long. There are no cracks, dents or repairs as it has been a well cared for treasure. The weight is 68 grams heavy and shows itself with a rich presence that can be worn with anything.

Composed of curved openwork panels formed as highly stylized bird heads, possibly eagles, with a pre-Columbian influence. The tongue-and-groove clasp is original and very secure for this substantial bracelet. It is bears the circular mark for Pedro Castillo, who worked for Spratling and Aguilar in the 1930s and started his own taller in the 1940s (per Bille Hougart’s ‘Little Book’ of Mexican silver marks, p. 41)...

Bold and beautiful with a Modernist design, this stunning bracelet by Antonio Pineda is a fine example of his craftmanship and artistry. At the corner of each heavy thick silver link is a light blue faceted Spinel and another spinel tops the push in clasp. Measures 6 7/8" long, 3/4" wide and weighs 95.3 grams. Being offered is a rare circa 1955 sterling silver and obsidian stone bracelet by Alfredo Villasana of Taxco, Mexico. The handcrafted thick gauge silver cuff set with a large round obsidian stone secured by four spiral prong settings, secured with box clasp. Villasana worked for William Spratlng and Hector Aguilar before opening his own shop in Taxco. Dimensions: Size 8”; stone is 1 3/4" by 2 1/4"; band is 3/4" wide. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition.

Formed as a square panel with rounded corners, featuring an incised seaweed-like design enhanced by oxidation, this Joseph Skinger design is called "Pine Needle." The pin has its original rollover clasp, which is quite secure. It is marked sterling and has Skinger’s script signature. Joseph Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. The pin measures a little over 1 3/8 inches square. Weight: 7.5 grams

The drop is constructed with 3 links which measures an expansive 7 in. It leads up the neck without intrusion to the sides of the neck. It makes a perfect silhouette and lays in a well thought out manner...

Rare and magnificent 970 silver and amethyst bracelet by Taxco master silversmith Antonio Pineda. It is comprised of concave hinged silver links with a center rounded rod of amethyst. Circa 1955-60, the bracelet measures 6 1/2" around in the inside, is 1" wide and weighs 122 grams.The slide in clasp is tight and secure as is the attached safety chain. A delicate but sturdily made openwork pin designed with a scrolled top set with faceted red glass. It has a modified C-clasp and is marked for .800 silver. There is also what appears to be the German word “geschützt” (roughly meaning “registered”) and an intertwined mark that looks like an R within a larger G. The pin stem is of brass and is marked “Metall.” There is a tiny nick to the glass stone, visible only with magnification. The pin measures about 2 7/8 inches long...

A well constructed, heavy sterling silver cuff bracelet with a large central bezel set carnelian cabochon. The under layer is thick hammered sterling with a polished sterling overlay.

Measures 5 7/8" around with an opening of 1 3/8". Rigid so couldn't be easily adjusted. Could be worn by a man or a woman. Measures 1 5/8" at the widest. Weighs 82 gr.

Fine condition. There are some surface scratches to the polished finish.

Feels substantial on.

This beautiful bracelet consists of 9 decorative, square links. Each, slightly convex, encases a fine filigree, openwork design with applied silver "balls." It is 6 1/2" long x 3/4". The v-spring is marked 830S and it has a concealed box clasp. It is in excellent condition.

A vintage modernist sterling silver bracelet by Hans Hansen, Denmark, designed by Karl Gustav Hansen with heart shaped links. This bracelet is design #237 and has the larger hearts and the earlier closure. This design was often additionally hallmarked with the Georg Jensen mark.

Measures 6 3/4" long and about 7/8" at the widest. The convex hearts curve slightly so the bracelet lays nicely on the wrist.

A rare pair of sterling silver and enamel scarab cuff links by the well known Danish silversmith, Erik Magnussen. After working at Gorham and having his own shops in Chicago and New York, he opened a shop in Hollywood and designed for the stars. He returned to Denmark in 1939.

These measures 1 1/8" long and 5/8" across. Marked with the conjoined EM monogram, Sterling, Style # 1341, Erik Magnussen and Made in Denmark. Marked 925S on the toggles which hold securely...

A vintage modernist sterling silver rare buckle by Hans Hansen, Denmark.

Measures about 2 1/4" across and 1 3/8" tall. Marked with the fancier HaH, and 925S. Mark dates from 1937-47. Also inscribed on the back with the date 23-5-41. In fine condition with a warm patina, very minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

Well crafted. Have not seen another example like this.
