A artisan studio style 1-1/4 x 3/8" sterling silver (tested) pendant with a cultured 4mm. pearl (nice pinkish lustre), a natural 25 point sapphire with superb blue colour, and a 5 point genuine diamond. A vintage Mid Century Modern pair of sterling silver cufflinks by the American silversmith, Ronald Hayes Pearson. Heavy and solid, these cufflinks measures 1 1/2" across. Beautiful red wood jacket with richly appliqued figures, Mexico, c.1940's. There are large man and woman figures on back and donkey, cactus, guitar, ceramics, etc on front and sleeves. There are two front pockets and the edges have sewn wool stitching all around. Interesting collar design(see photo). Small size - approx. size 4. A pair of modernist sterling silver screw back earrings in a tulip design by the noted MCM studio jeweler, Paul Lobel. Constructed of a layer of oxidized sterling with a contrasting polished curved sterling wire overlay.

Screw backs measure 1 1/8" long and 3/4" across and hold securely. They are marked LOBEL Sterling and the screw part is marked Sterling.

Minor surface scratches. They have a warm patina and are wonderfully crafted...

From his first design period, with hallmarks dating 1940- 46, this is a silver conch pin designed by William Spratling and featured in books on Mexican silver. Measuring 2 3/4" by 2", weighs 21 grams and is signed as shown. The pin clasp may have been replaced . One of Spratling's favorite designs.

Circa 1940's, here is a seldom seen pin from noted Taxco designer Hubert Harmon. Harmon was active for a short time, and this Neptune pin is signed and hallmarked with his winged feet and Hubert Harmon marks dating likely 1942-1948.

It's a stunning whimsical pin with Neptune holding his pitchfork, seating upon a large fish with an amethyst cabochon eye. The repoussé silver work is superb...

This is a pre-1948 Los Castillo amethyst cabachon necklace that is absolutely breathtaking. The piece is 16in. long and 7/8in. wide and weighing a hefty 84grams. Most of this design is extremely small and this is very comfortable size for most. Properly hallmarked for Los Castillo's design 817. Beautiful condition just, LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Matching the brooch of the same design that it also available here (you can see the two pieces together in one of the photos here) this Los Castillo Mexican silver and copper ring is a rather rare find and I am happy to have come upon it. Weaving together the two metals in a chevron / arrow pattern, it is additionally embellished with tiny little sterling beads and has a visually interesting shank as well...

A caged amethyst sterling cuff marked ORB Sterling. There is some spotting and light wear on the silver. The cuff is 1" wide. The inner diameter is 2-1/4" with some give. 43.9gr.

An early design by the Los Castillo taller (could it have been created by their cousin, Salvador Teran, when he was still working for them?), the “fish skeleton” is considered a classic and has seen many emulations and reproductions over the years. The hinged bracelet at hand, wrought in thick silver sheet with copper bead accents, is a modernist treasure that was made for small wrists...

Two sophisticated sleek sterling bangles with niello by Hans Hansen and Karl Gustav Hansen. One bangle carries the Hansen script while the other (smaller one) has the Karl Gustav Hansen mark - both are stamped Denmark 209. The inner diameter of one is just shy of 2-1/2"; the other is 2-1/2". Total weight 35 grams.
