Pair of high content silver, pre-owned, Turkmen forearm cuffs, with inset carnelians. Very heavy, these are 310 grams each or 620 grams total. Inner circumference sizes are: 17.2cm and 19cm on and 17.9m and 20cm on the other. These can be presumably be adjusted silversmith or someone with just a good grip!

A modernist sterling silver brooch with a baroque pearl by Sigi Pineda. Design number 81. Measures 3" long and 1 1/4" across. Marked on the back Sigi Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, 81, and Eagle #3. Safety rollover clasp holds securely. In very nice condition. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches. There is a place on the front edge where you can feel the hallmark stamp from the back. It was stamped too close to the edge. Not really noticeable, but wanted to call it...

This large, sterling silver, pendant is most unusual, c. 1960’s. It measures 2 5/8" x 1 7/8". It is a stylized scale, made of heavy gauge silver. Going along with the abstract motif, the large amber “drop” is more like an amorphous bulb of oranges, yellows, and reds, changing with the lighting. The "relics" housed by the amber are also visible. It is marked 925. It weighs just over 1 ounce / approximately 29 grams and is in excellent condition.

One of Taxco's most famous modernists Sigi Pineda was also a very prolific designer and at his best moments, truly inspired. I am used to seeing minimalist, fluid pieces by him and the brooch at hand, wrought in sterling silver and adorned with a teardrop-shaped obsidian, is the result of a good moment indeed...

A sterling silver modernist brooch with a bezel set onyx stone cabochon by Joaquin Tinta of Ecuador. Depicts a stylized bird or rooster with a gemstone eye.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 7/8" high. Marked Ecuador, Tinta and Sterling on the back. The sterling mark has been double stamped. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

Has contrasting layers of polished and textured silver for an interesting effect.

This lovely bracelet is decorated with white guilloché enameled rectangular panels alternating with similar square ones featuring dark blue flowers. The silver is highly gilded; the tongue-and-groove clasp is original and in good working order. The bracelet bears the mark of Norwegian maker David-Andersen. This fine vintage clip / brooch features a 3-dimensional rose in gf surrounded by a floral design of sterling silver and clear rhinestones. Impressive & rare this hand forged sterling silver belt buckle inlaid with chrysocolla quartz was designed & signed by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). An unusual pendant by the noted modernist jeweler, Paul Lobel. This pendant, made of a sterling silver 'wishbone' with a dark rusty orange, probably carnelian drop, is a rare design. You can see lots of striations when it is held up to the light.
