This handmade bracelet has a Georg Jensen feel, and was made during the height of Jensen’s popularity in the U.S. It is composed of panels of double leaves that are connected with curled, vine-like, entwined links. The workmanship is of a high quality and the look is classic Scandinavian with its focus on natural forms. The bracelet bears the mark for Lund, a Stockholm maker, as well as sterling marks for Sweden and Stockholm and a 1945 date mark...

This Mexican brooch is pre-Columbian in design. The onyx face is decorated with a silver headdress, earrings, and neck ornamentation with “feather” pendants. The bezel-set stone face is onyx.

HALLMARKS: MEXICO; LCJ TAXCO, MEXICO Eagle assay #3 This hallmark is cited in Bille Hougart’s The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks. DIMENSIONS: 3 3/4” x 2”.

CONDITION: Excellent condition...

This ring is quite lovely. The green enamel is perfect, depicting an abstract heart, or the head of a snake with large, green eyes (whichever suits your mood). The solid sterling silver band tapers from the pointed tip, as it wraps around. It is just under 1/2” at its widest. The inside is marked, “DAVID-ANDERSEN NORWAY STERLING 925S.” The basic size is a 7, but the band is slightly adjustable. This piece has good heft and is in excellent condition.

Hallmarks date 1948-1962. Three chrysocolla stones and an edgy geometric design combine to make this a very unique bracelet. Easy to wear and very comfortable on the wrist, this piece goes with just about any outfit and occasion. Measures a closed, wearable length of 6 1/2". Width is just over 1/2". Signed and hallmarked "HA .940 Taxco Mexico", with the eagle assay 9. Weight is 44.1 grams. In excellent vintage condition.

A picture is worth a thousand words, they say, and in preparing to offer this fantastic find of mine, I am putting my trust in popular wisdom. When one has been dealing in vintage Mexican silver jewelry for as long a time as I have, one tends to hear that little "devil" in one's ear louder and louder, claiming that there is nothing new or exciting left to be encountered. Thankfully though, life and the old maestros of Taxco still keep some aces hidden up their sleeve...

Richly ornate millegrain etched bezel holding an oval satin frosty finish (not faceted) citrine honey amber color 15 X 18mm glass cab. French? Czech? The setting is beautiful Art Nouveau ish looking. Presently sized at 4.5, yet your jeweler can do better for you or wear it as a fancy pinky ring.
Decades of rich darkening in the crevices of this unmarked tested silver ring...

Superb Rachel Gera modernist sterling silver, stone and shell ring

A lovely engraved sterling bangle with jasper, montrose and bloodstone agate by Joseph Cook & Son, Birmingham. Marked accordingly and dated 1937. The inner diameter measures 2-1/4" x 2" and the width is 1/4". Weight 16 gr. Safety chain.

This early Matl pin is an exceptional piece, with a beautiful oval turquoise at front and center. The hand-wrought repoussé silver has a warm patina. Measures 2 3/16" x 1 1/4" at the center. Weight is 19.6 grams. Signed and hallmarked "Matl" in script. Closes with a "c" clasp. Collector quality.

These Antonio Pineda earrings are a rare find. Collector quality, these are absolutely exquisite with a stunning modernist design. They have great movement and hang nice and long at 3". Screw backs work perfectly. Weight is 19.1 grams. Signed and hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco crown, eagle assay 208. In excellent vintage condition with no issues whatsoever.

A cute, diminutive Victorian fob seal in the form of a silver toga-clad monkey sitting atop a gold base. His eyes are set with tiny cabochon garnets. The base is formed from a faceted carnelian and has never been engraved. Tested and guaranteed silver and 18K.

Origin: Probably France, ca. 1860. Condition: excellent, all original, no engraving on seal. Dimensions: 9/16” x 7/16” x 1” tall. Weight: 4.2 gr.

This Corocraft sterling calla lily brooch has clear rhinestones tie and purple stones on the flower. It is 3 3/4" x 2 1/8". It is hallmarked Coro Craft and sterling with pegasus. Pat Aug. 22. 1944 Des 138,605 by A. Katz.

This fabulous vintage Mexican Bracelet has a stunning design similar to the work of Antonio Pineda - it's signed with the initials AP but they differ from the more common Pineda hallmark and we're not sure who the artist is. It's a massive piece measuring 7" long, 1" wide and is quite heavy at 115.5 grams. Early style pin closure. No damage noted, just some light wear and tarnish and the Amethyst stones have the typical inclusions. A fantastic bracelet that any collector will love.

These cufflinks produced by Antonio Pineda are elegant and very classy. Obsidian and silver cylinders side by side measure 15/16" x 5/8". T-backs are tight and snappy. Signed and hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco crown, 970, and the eagle assay 17. Weight is 21.2 grams. In excellent vintage condition.

A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver brooches designed by Gudmund Elvestad for J. Tostrup of Norway. May be purchased individually or as a pair.

The first one is a stylish anthropomorphic design with burnished and textured finish.

Measures 2 1/8" across and 1 1/2" high.

The second brooch appears to be a styled human figure with long bent arms...

17 in. long 1 1/8th in. tall weight 85 grams This Fred Davis was designed by Valentin Vidaurreta. It was later produced by Hector Aguilar for Valentin Vidaurreta which is also listed on my site. This trapezoid shape has a higher peak and each link is a bit larger than the design made by Aguilar. The design is shown in the book WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE. I could not produce photos to do this justice and only on will the shields come more tightly together...
