This charming pin, made of .800 silver, is formed as a spray of delicate flowers within a wide vertical leaf. The leaf is enhanced with a textured surface. The pin is possibly Russian-made, based on the maker’s mark on the S-clasp; there is an .800 mark on the pin stem as well as what could be an Eastern European import mark. It measures 3 1/8 inches long by 5/8 inch at its widest part.

Who is TVE? Mystery silver marks Native American? Modernist? Vintage hand made sleek slender stylized double leaf bezel set turquoise 'flower bud' pin brooch unmarked except for script "TVE".
Unmarked - Tests bright red for high content silver.
3X 1 7/8". Stone has slight crazing, normal for this type of stone...

Here is a sterling silver pin formed as stylized flowers and stems, set with teardrop-shaped pieces of obsidian. The partial marks are from a silversmith unidentified but known for the initials AE inside a heart-shaped M. It is a substantial piece, with the prong-set pieces of obsidian riveted to the oval backs. It has a secure safety clasp. The pin measures about 2 1/2 inches at its widest point, and 3 inches at its longest.

Measures 2 1/8" long and 1 3/4" across. Marked Sterling Lasak. Rollover clasp holds securely. Lightly hammered. Has some minor tarnish.

Handmade sterling and turquoises pin with retro/modernist design by Maurice, possibly French, c.1960's. Quite large and made of heavy gauge silver, it measures 4" long by 2" wide. The design is a retro floral bow, but, is executed in modernist style. It is signed "MAURICE STERLING" and is in excellent condition. Has an interesting texture which is slightly gold in color. This ring is a size 11 1/2 (can be resized, of course). It has a cool design, almost foil-like (see pictures). It's just over 1/2" at its highest. It is marked 925. It's a wonderful piece in excellent condition.

A modernist sterling silver hand wrought cuff bracelet and/or spiral triangular earrings by Lore Garrick, (1920-2013). Lore Garrick made hand crafted jewelry in NYC in the 1950s. Known as 'Mother Lore' because her son became Tamal Krishna Goswami, she made the first pieces of jewelry for the Hare Krishna movement in Los Angeles.

Unusual wide linked vintage bracelet, each link containing a primitively sculpted little crawling human form. The figures are all different. The links are edged with "blobbed" silver lines and the flat surfaces have been oxidized. Unmarked. Tests as sterling. It has a wearable length of 8 inches. Bracelet is made up of 8 separate links, which are each about 1 5/8 inches wide. The little people stick up about 3/16 inch. Excellent vintage condition.

Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A Mid Century Modernist pair of screw back earrings in two layers of sterling silver by Peggy Miller, an American studio jeweler who worked in Baltimore in the 1950's -60's. These earrings measure 3/4" across one end and 5/8"across on the other end. Measure 7/8" high. Screw backs hold securely. Signed Peggy Miller Sterling on the back of each earring. Nice contrast between the darkened background and the top layer of sterling. Great mid century design.

This bracelet's design is whimsical and marches to its own drummer, but is spot-on in how it is constructed for balance and comfort. The outer surface sports applied silver vine-like curls flanking a central garnet cabochon in an elevated bezel mount. The irregular-shaped terminals complete the quirky, expressionist influence exhibited in this very unusual bracelet. It is unmarked but tests definitively for silver...

Interesting sterling ring from Finland with a lovely rutilated quartz cabochon stone. The table measures over 1" long, and the stone stands 4/8" tall. The ring has the crown symbol, is marked "925, Made in Finland," and has an abstract hallmark which I do not recognize, along with the mark "U7" which means it was made between 1954 - 1977. size 6.5. In excellent vintage condition.

A well made pair of sterling silver and ebony cufflinks by noted American Modernist Jeweler, Allan Adler. Measure 5/8" square. Two of the sides are angled in for a clean modernist feel. Signed Allan Adler Sterling on each. Show a little wear and some minor tarnish. Toggles work fine. Great mid century design.

Formed as a stylized, textured ribbon, bisected by a flattened band. The pin has a dynamic feel and is quite sturdy. The rollover clasp is original to the piece and in good working order.
