Beautiful pair of hand made sterling and ebony LEAF trays by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1950. They match item #273200 which is a very large matching LEAF tray by Los Castillo. Hand hammered and beautifully sculpted, each measures 11" long by 3 1/2" wide. Each is signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MEXICO HANDWROUGHT 118 (bellmark) 15". Vintage sterling necklace and matching earrings by Navajo Allen Kee created during his time as a benchsmith at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, Arizona from 1946 to 1962, working beside Kenneth Begay. The necklace measures 16 inches end to end, the spiral links are 3/4" wide and the weight is 49 grams. The earrings are 1 3/4" long and weigh 12 grams total. They have their original screw backs but could be converted to accommodate pierced ears...

Rare and beautiful 970 silver and aventurine bracelet by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda.This is a wonderful mid-century design, one that I have not seen before. Measuring 7" aroung in the inside when closed, it is 1" wide in the center and gradually tapers to the back. Hinged and opens and closes in the back with a push in clasp and original safety chain. Weighing 73 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed with the Antonio crown, eagle 208 JCL Taxco and 970 as shown in the photo...

Made by Margot Van Voorheis this necklace proves that not all great things come in big packages. The workmanship is complicated to say the least. The entire 15in. chain is composed of the tiniest granulated beads which are then channel set throughout with each links length measuring 3/16th of an inch. Nine perfect teardrop dangles are the center piece attracting much attention and the drop is 1in. tall and 2.75in. across...

Vintage sterling silver and copper pin or brooch designed and signed (1940's) by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). Pin measures 3 3/8" across. Fully hallmarked with Spratling's 1940 marks. Beautiful condition with an excellent patina. No dents or dings. Pin and lock work perfectly. Matching earrings also available. Pictured in MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill and Carole Berk on p.57.

Rare sterling double layered biomorphic shaped cuff by New York Modernist Ed wiener. This is his early work and a design rarely seen. Measuring 5 " around in the inside plus a 1 1/4" opening, it is 1 7/8" at the widest point and weighs 63 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. Molds perfectly on the wrist and looks spectacular.

One of the best and largest silver pins by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1948. Beautiful repouseed floral pin showing play between oyxidized deep lines and shiny surface silver. Very large, it measures 3 1/2" long by 3 1/4" wide. Signature is unusual showing eagle mark(not usual bellmark), one of the earliest dies ordered from Germany - "eagle mark 940 HA TAXCO".
