This very Victorian grooming chatelaine is from the 1800s. It has a Chinese fish motif at the top, and dangling from that are 3 implements: a tweezers, one for cleaning nails, and an ear-cleaning device. (We saw a similar chatelaine on eBay, and the ear-cleaning implement was advertised as a device for opium users, but we don’t think so! However, as non-opium users, we could be wrong ….) It is unmarked but tests positive for silver, and with a patina consistent with age...
It is always exciting to find an Antonio Pineda shadow box archers cuff, particularly an early piece with the "ZZ" hallmark. It measures 2 3/8" wide and 5 1/4" around in the inside with a 1 1/8" opening.It weighs 133 grams. All original, fine condition, no damage or repairs. Hallmarked as shown. One of his classic designs.
Design 5161 is a Margot de Taxco masterpiece of beads and swirls. Hallmarked correctly as shown with a 100 gram weight showing off quality repousse and a generous 18 inch wearable length. The drop is constructed with 3 links which measures an expansive 7 in. It leads up the neck without intrusion to the sides of the neck. It makes a perfect silhouette and lays in a well thought out manner...
A modernist pair of sterling silver earrings by noted mid century New York City jeweler, Sam Kramer.

Have two overlapping wavy pieces of sterling, top is concave and the bottom is convex for an interesting effect.
Marked Sterling and with the mushroom mark of the artist on the back of one dangle. Marked sterling on the back of the screw backs which hold securely.

This moonstone necklace and/or choker has great detail, with foliate accents. It sits on the neck very nicely, with its style. It is sterling silver with lovely, moonstone cabochons surrounded by applied leaves. It is a Navajo / Native American / South Western piece. The chain is 15 1/2 long. The back is marked STERLING with the maker's mark clearly show a D. The other letter is cut off (see pics). It has good heft and is in excellent condition.
Los Castillo is known for their superb silver repousse work and this stunning bracelet is an outstanding example of that skill. Two large vary ornate fish sitting on two blue Art Glass cabochons curve around the wrist ending with silver shells at the clasp in the back. It measures 6 1/2" long by 2" wide at the front tapering to 1" at the back and is quite heavy at 97.9 grams...
A vintage hand made sterling silver brooch with a swan motif by Carl Poul Petersen, the Canadian silversmith who signed his work with the stylized CPP.
He was born in Denmark, married Georg Jensen's daughter and apprenticed with him before moving to Montreal. He eventually opened his own workshop.
This beautifully crafted brooch measures 1 3/4" across and 2 1/4" high.
Marked on the back CPP, Sterling and Handmade.
Has an earlier style hinged 'C' clasp that holds securely...
A vintage sterling silver brooch with a high domed shaped light brown stone, (probably smoky topaz), cabochon by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulta of Finland. This modernist brooch measures 2 1/4" across and 1" high. Reminiscent of Native American designs. Marked with Kauppi's anvil mark, Sterling and Finland. Has an earlier style trombone clasp which holds securely. Fine condition. Wonderful example of Scandinavian modernist jewelry.

These beautiful sterling silver cufflinks are marked for Unger Bros and sterling. The flower-patterned ovals are linked by chain and are the epitome of Art Nouveau. One oval, darn it, is a plain replacement. Each oval is 7/8" x 3/4". Circa 1910.

Circa early 1940's, this is a superb slinky chain bracelet from William Spratling. It's a heavy handwrought piece, with a closed, wearable length of 7 1/2" and a width of 7/8". Classy and elegant, and feels fabulous on the wrist. Signed and hallmarked with the WS Print Circle "Spratling Made in Mexico WS", and Spratling Silver. Weight is 115.2 grams. Excellent vintage condition, collector quality. Silver tested to be 98% purity.
A visit to Maisel’s Trading Post was de rigueur for tourists visiting New Mexico before the store closed in the late 1960s after Mr. Maisel’s death. (It was later reopened in 1980 by a grandson, but closed again in 2019.) Tourists flocked to the store, which featured an open lower-level gallery where Native American artists crafted the jewelry and artifacts sold above...

The epitome of minimalism - there is nowhere further in subtraction to go from here - this modernist sterling silver collar necklace bears the signature of the Los Ballesteros workshop and was made in Taxco, Mexico in the 1960s-70s. Shaped in order to wrap itself around the neck and rest lightly right below the Adam's apple, its width is at its maximum at center front and then tapers gently toward the two ends in the back of the neck...
Magnificent handmade sterling cuff with precise fine line chiseling by Navajo Sam Roanhorse (1916-1988).
He was the brother of Ambrose Roanhorse, who he studied with, and also worked for the White Hogan Shop from 1951-52. His work is rare to find and highly collectible. This cuff measures 5 1/2" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/4" opening. Weighing 89 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown. An exquisite piece of exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
