Early SAM KRAMER modernist sterling ring with rutilated quartz cabochon, c.1948. Top is raised in best Kramer style with 4 tubes of silver and stone is set in darkened silver inset background(photo #1 is lighter than actual background). Top oval measures 3/4"+ by 1/2" and is size 6. Band indents near top(see photo #4) so is part of the design of the ring. Signed with Arte En Plata Taller as well as an early eagle 3. The artist initials are also shown with AJ. There is a height of 1.25 inches. The beads are a lovely blue green Azurmalachite and has 19 inches of length. The diamond drops are heavy walled silver with a dark natural patina. We have an impressive presence at 190 grams. The stones have striations front and back as most from this era of the Mexican Silver Renaissance do. This example is much better than most found.
