These cufflinks produced by Antonio Pineda are elegant and very classy. Obsidian and silver cylinders side by side measure 15/16" x 5/8". T-backs are tight and snappy. Signed and hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco crown, 970, and the eagle assay 17. Weight is 21.2 grams. In excellent vintage condition.

This great, large Taxco Mexico mod pendant / brooch measures 3" x 2 1/8". It has a cool geo shape with three dangles. It is sterling silver with inlaid azur-malachite: blues and greens. The back is signed with all hallmarks: STERLING TAXCO, AC, Cecilia in script, HECHO EN MEXICO, Tono in script and numbered 80. This lovely, colorful pendant and/or pin in excellent condition.

Choice of two modernist cast sterling silver brooches; one in a stylized bird design and the other in a stylized scorpion design with a pearl by noted Mid Century silversmith Christian Schmidt, (1926-1974). A Nestor Mexico sterling Mosaico Azteca pin and earrings set. This great looking Mexican sterling silver pin and matching screwback earrings is by Nestor, a respected designer in (probably) the 1950s. This set consists of the 2-5/8 x 1-5/8" pin and the matching 7/8" across earrings. Each is in metales casados (mixed metals) including brass, silver and copper with black enamel, with a mosaico azteca ground (crushed azurite and malachite stones)...

Softly folded modernist silver ring from Hans Hansen, Denmark, c 1960s. Makers mark HaH and 925 S. Inner diameter "3/4 / 19 mm. Condition: fine.

The pendant is composed of a forged oval frame surrounding an applied lost-wax cast piece of organic design. It is suspended from a sturdy leather cord that exhibits some wear and stiffness. The necklace is secured by a spring-ring clasp marked sterling. The pendant is unmarked, but tests as sterling silver; its surface is tarnished and could use a light cloth polishing...

Being offered is a rare and fine circa 1965 sterling silver necklace by Sigfrido ‘SIGI’ Pineda of Taxco, Mexico. Handcrafted silver necklace in a modern biomorphic design; necklace features a tongue & box closure to attach both pieces. Sigi, cousin of Los Castillo founder, Antonio Castillo, spent years working with Los Castillo, Salvador Teran, Felipe Martinez, and Margot de Taxco before opening his own shop in 1952. Inspired by an ancient Aztec or Maya eagle head glyph this set of Antonio Pineda cufflinks were crafted in the maestro’s favorite, .970 silver alloy. Overlay and oxidation are used here to convey the bird’s of prey features, fearsome by default yet a little bit on the cartoonish side as well, if I am allowed the comparison… Measuring approx...

Southwest modernist(in the style of H. Fred Skaggs and Frank Patania) amber and sterling ring and earrings set signed, made in Arizona, c.1960's. The large ring has 4 pieces of amber and is size 8 1/4. The front of the ring measures 1 1/2" long by 7/8" wide. The pierced earrings each have 3 pieces of amber and measure 1" by 1". The silver is of good weight and the set is in excellent condition...

Bold high-set modernist crystal ring by Swedish designer Gison Liedholm. The setting makes quite a statement, soaring a full 3/4" above the band. Made in the middle of the 20th Century. The stone appears to be a rock crystal. Size 6. Excellent vintage condition. Marked "Handmade, Sterling, Gison Liedholm."

This ornate sterling silver disk pin, by Norwegian maker Ivar T. Holth, is gilded and features an intricate wirework design. It is applied to a scalloped disk of white guilloched enamel and dates from the 1960s-1970s. It appears to have been hardly worn, with a light tarnishing of the gilt that can be addressed with a cloth cleaning. There is a secure rollover clasp on the back as well as the marks for Norway, Holth and sterling...

These interesting turquoise and sterling silver earrings were made in Mexico. The clover shape looks like three hearts with a stem, with the turquoise inlay separated by the sterling silver. The back of one of the screwbacks is marked HECHO EN MEXICO 925 (of which only HECHO EN M and 9 are legible). They also have the maker's initials: a curved BEH, of which the H is not fully stamped. These earrings measure 1" x 3/4". The patina is great as are the turquoise colors.

A forged wire pendant composed of drops of various lengths is attached to a chain of shorter, peaked forged bars linked by securely soldered rings. The necklace has a nice heft, but it quite comfortable. The back bears the circular impressed Mexican silver mark with central maker’s initials of possibly OBC, and the eagle 1 mark. The necklace measures 19 inches long unclasped; the pendant drops 4 ¼ inches. Weight: 56.1 grams

Here is a sterling silver pin of signature design by the Danish maker Niels Erik From. It is composed of stylized rounded leaves and berries on a stem, enhanced by applied patination, and is secured by a rollover safety clasp. The maker’s mark is impressed on the back. The pin measures 2 1/8 inches long by 1 inch wide.
