A fine quality 1-1/4" diameter sterling and silver gilt pin by Solje of Norway. This pin has a c-clasp and dangling gilt silver discs. Absolutely exquisite 970 silver, onyx and moonstone necklace and matching screw back earrings by Taxco Master silversmith Antonio Pineda. Magnificent design and construction, this is a rare necklace measuring 16"end to end and 1"wide. It has 21 crescent shaped onyx stones and 21 round moonstones, a very striking contrast. Heavily carved with an Aztec motif this vintage sterling cuff was designed & signed c. 1940's by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. The bracelet is 1 1/2" high & weighs 107 grams. It has a 1 inch gap opening and will fit up to a 6 1/2 inch wrist. Beautiful condition. Fully hallmarked on reverse. A sterling silver bracelet from Taxco with a modernist, geometric design. Made up of six hinged slightly curved links with a somewhat hidden clasp. Nice contrast between the raised polished sterling and the oxidized background.

I have written in the past that Elna jewelry is more often than not very generous in proportions but this stunner of a bracelet goes above and beyond that! It is not just its sheer monumentality that impresses. It is also the classically "archaeological" character of the design itself which is expressed by the carved stone "mask" of an ancient Aztec Eagle warrior. This is a pre-1948 Garcia repousse bracelet that is 1.25in. wide and 7in. long. The barrels are straight and there are no dents. The weight is 52 grams and it is made of thick silver. It feels heavy to the hand. The patina is really warm and the stones have mellowed with age and are a wonderful mix of blue greens. This is a magnificent French past pendant circa early 1800s. It is 2 1/2" tall and 1 7/8". It is in excellent condition. There are what appears to be 2 touch marks on this item which are completely unreadable to me.
