RARE and BEST Salvador Teran necklace I've ever seen and possibly one of a kind. Made in Mexico, c.1952, it is a LARGE pendant of a woman praying wearing a shawl and skirt measuring 2 3/4" long by 1 1/4" wide. She has red arms and a black face, but not sure what those materials are. The linked neckring locks perfectly in place and measures approx. 15 1/4" around. This magnificent, hand forged piece was designed & signed c.1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). Weighing 225 grams, the hinged, flexible buckle measures 9" across X 2 3/4" high tapering to 1 3/4" at the terminals. 3 thick silk velvet cords are sewn into place at the ends. Wonderfully designed hand made necklace by MAYA, Mexico, c.1950's after a Hubert Harmon design. Maya frequently copied Harmon designs. This ornate Peruzzi sterling silver necklace dates from the 1950s and features a central eagle drop flanked by grotesque masks. They are suspended from a bead chain. This clamper bracelet is design 250 with the artist being Margot Van Voorhies before her divorce to Antonio Castillo. The presence is stunning with a height of 2.5 inches. We have a Mexican Silver Clamper in the Lotus design made by Gerardo Lopez who is known for fantastic repousse jewels. Properly hallmarked as shown and being 2.75 in. tall with a hefty weight. No damage to the spring or silver. There is glare and patina to be observed in these pictures. A beautiful thing which works perfectly with the Lotus necklace I also just listed. 2310

This geometric openwork pin depicting snakelike creatures is distinguished by its design, which draws from ancient Mexican imagery. The pin is sturdily made and has a secure C-clasp. It is unsigned but stamped on the back Taxco 980, which indicates a higher-than-sterling silver content. It likely dates from the 1940s-50s.
