This stunning bracelet by the famous Antonio Pineda showcases his remarkable design skill and quality craftmanship. The round links are hinged at the top and bottom and each holds two uniquely cut deep toned Carnelian stones at the side. Measures 7 1/2" long by 7/8" wide and weighs 55.6 grams. The sterling silver cat & fish pin was designed by Hubert Harmon in the 1940's. Fish with hook measures 5" long. Cat head with cascabells is 1 1/2" X 1 1/2". The connecting chain is 10" long. Cat has amethyst eyes, fish with amethyst eye & amethyst tail detail. Pin back and locks work perfectly. Beautiful condition. Harmon designs are rare as he only created his Taxco, Mexico silver pieces for a very few years in the 1940's...
Beautiful repousse' work in this elegant design by William Spratling brings the piece to life. Weighing 23 grams and measuring 3" x 2" the brooch was designed as a dress or fur clip. Spratling designed this piece in a few different sizes. For comparison see the 4" x 3 1/2" example also listed on our site. All in beautiful condition with excellent patina. We have a superb Los Castillo 18in. long necklace to offer today. The links are 1 3/8ths tall making for a striking presence. The stones have no cracks or chips and also have no striations that come to the surface of the amethyst. The color is a beautiful mix of milky swirl and jelly purple. Properly hallmarked as shown with the old linear mark for Los Castillo when Margot Van Voorhies was married to Don Antonio Castillo. Definitely a collectors treasure.
