A very nice modernist silverplate over copper tie bar decorated with a design of coiled silver wire by studio jewelers Morley & Kim Crimi. This use of coiled wire is characteristic of the maker, who more frequently worked in copper than in silver. The back is marked “Morley-Crimi Hand Wrought”.

Extremely rare and large sterling figural pin by Abraham Paz, Mexico c.1930. He designed for Fred Davis, so it is clear that this famous design was created by Paz. Here, we see a variation on a theme, with a man wearing a serape and holding a rope. The signature is RARE showing the Paz mark, which this antique dealer has never seen before. It is signed "CAP(stylized) HECHO EN MEXICO D.E. A.PAZ 0.925" and is in excellent condition. Of very good size, it measures 2 3/4" high by 1 5/8" wide...

A Utika sterling silver or higher gilt filigree bracelet, probably 1920s 1930. This fine quality vintage sectional bracelet has true Art Deco period design and finish and it is stamped SILVER and UTIKA. We believe it is German in origin, but have been unable to confirm company information. The extraordinarily fine filigree looks like the work that Theodor Fahrner made popular. The gilding is very light.
It is 7-3/8" long and is just under 1" wide with a box clasp with a safety guard loop...

A clean, modernist design characterizes this ring, which is composed of a graduated rounded sterling band inset with an irregularly shaped piece of teak or rosewood. It mostly likely dates from the late 1960s to mid-1970s. There is an unidentified triangular mark on the outer band. The ring tests strongly for silver, and is probably European. It is sized a 6 1/4. Gross weight: 4.7 grams

Signed by a listed but still unidentified Taxco maestro, this pair of exuberant sterling silver chandelier earrings is set with some of the most vibrant turquoise teardrops I have seen. Yet it is not just the stones that elevate it above and beyond your everyday earrings. The silver-work is equally gorgeous, the hand-cut and deeply chased frames given "body" with just a tad of repoussage and wisely applied oxidation. And did I mention that color in the turquoise??? Measuring
1 7/8" long (incl...
Mystery maker. Unsigned unmarked silver coral ring. Ornate foliate shank and applied silver leaves at the shoulders. 1 1/8" top.

The ornate shank is original to the piece. This foliate design has been seen on some signed Peruzzi; the Italian one using 80% or 800, while the American using 925 sterling.
Is it European or Chinese?
The genuine salmon coral with lighter shading is often seen in continental jewelry. There is applied rope arou...
A beautiful demi-parure consisting of a matching necklace and bracelet in gold washed silver with very big faceted opaline glass stones, prong set, and bezel set in the center of the necklace. Marked SILVER. Circa 1900 - 1920. Possibly French. A very unusual design, and I have never had opaline stones this big before. They have fabulous pink and blue tones which are not completely captured in the photos.
