Circa 1940-1945, this is a heavy solid 940 silver bracelet from Hector Aguilar. It's an iconic early design, known as "Fertility". A book piece design, it's shown in the Morrill/Berk book "Silver Masters of Mexico", as well as "Mexican Silver". Executed in 94% pure silver, it's entirely hand-wrought, with deeply incised links and oxidized recesses. Measures a closed, wearable length of 6 3/4", with a width of 15/16"...

Calling the vintage Mexican silver and black stone "mask" ring I am presenting here massive is not an exaggeration. It is not just the actual ring size (9.5 US) that makes it so; it is also the textured, solid setting, quite masculine in design, and the beautifully carved, stupendous effigy it houses. I am not sure what the stone is - I think it might be onyx but it could also be black agate. I am fascinated by its opaque gravity and the way its satin finish invites the touch...

This mid-century Margot de Taxco brooch is likely one of a kind. The Victorian era high relief Greek goddess is hand-carved and exquisitely detailed. It's either hardstone or black lava, and Margot designed the silver setting expressly to fit the cameo, using a Greek motif with black enamel. Measures 2 3/8" x 2 3/16", with a weight of 35.8 grams. A sterling silver “Sirene” ring, an early 70’s design by Björn Weckström, Lapponia. Sterling silver, partly gilt (the cavity is gilt, difficult to photograph). Stamped 925 twice (European and Finnish stamp), the small Lapponia mark, H8 for 1985 and Lapponia. Inner diameter "½ / 17 mm. Condition: fine.

Post modern hand made sterling and garnet ring, c.1970's. Design is a contrast between gold washed silver & sterling, textures, and has an almondine garnet. This handsome, handmade Italian sterling silver bracelet by Peruzzi is composed of linked openwork oval and round frames holding applied flowers and leaves. The flowers look to have been hand constructed, petal-by-petal. The hook clasp and safety chain are very secure; the inside of the bracelet bears the Peruzzi and sterling marks. The surface is highly tarnished, despite an attempt at cleaning; it can be brightened up a bit more...

Antonio Pineda inlaid this creation with horizontal and vertical onyx pieces alternating. It measures .75in. tall and is 7.5in. long. The weight is 81 grams heavy. The onyx is all perfect with no chips or damage. One picture features the Fred Davis design necklace also listed on my site with this bracelet. This piece is sleek and timeless and perfect for career wear. Certainly a strong consideration for your jewel box.

This vintage sterling silver necklace was designed and signed by Mexico City artist Matilde Poulat in the 1950's. The necklace is 1 1/2" wide and 17 wearable inches long. This hand-wrought sterling silver necklace is composed of square curved and graduated panels incised with a seaweed-like design, called "Pine Needle." Each panel is linked by securely soldered rings and bars; the end ring links to a hook closure. A superb early vintage Mexican Silver Bracelet by the famous Matilde Poulat aka MATL. Features her signature ornate silver work and a lovely combination of Coral and Turquoise cabochon stones.
