Circa mid-century, here is a rare find from Antonio Pineda. Extra-long dangle earrings with gorgeous smokey quartz gemstones. The almost pure 970 silver has a bamboo design, and the bezel-set stones have open-back settings to let the light shine through, playing up the exquisite bronze hues...

These amethyst earrings have no hallmarks. They were converted to posts, and whatever marks were present are now gone. The design is one which I've only seen from Matilde Poulat. Amethysts are gorgeous, perfectly matched in color with natural inclusions. Each earring measures 1 1/16" x 7/8". Weight is 21.1 grams. No dings, dents, dimples. Amethyst are free of any cracks or chips.

A spectacular bracelet by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs comprised of six sterling silver wired wrapped irregular shaped polished stones including amethyst, white quartz, rose quartz, rutilated quartz, aquamarine and citrine. The bracelet measures 8 1/2 " end to end but because of the thickness of the stones, it fits a wrist of 7- 7 1/2" or so. The stones are beautiful and smooth with lots of natural inclusions. It is in fine original condition, no chips or cracks...

An amazing sterling and fire opals bracelet by Mexican designer Carmen Beckmann. The stones are varied and vibrant in color and are all in beautiful condition. Beckmann is one of the few well known women Mexican silversmiths of her time, active primarily in the 60's and 70's and having a shop in San Miguel de Allende. Measuring 8" end to end, this bracelet is 7/8" wide and weighs 103 grams. No condition issues, secure push in clasp. Signed as shown. A rare and spectacular Beckmann piece.

This mid-century bracelet from Margot is a large wide spectacular standout piece. Hand-wrought with superb repoussé silver work, this is certainly one of the most magnificent designs Margot ever created, and it's in absolutely pristine vintage condition. Measures a closed, wearable length of 6 3/4", with a width of 1 7/16". Weight is 80.4 grams. Closure is a tight and secure tongue in box, with original safety chain.

Hallmarks date these Hector Aguilar earrings 1940-1948. Perfect flowers, each with a domed center, leaves, and tiny beading, make these earrings both elegant and classy for everyday use or a special occasion. Screwbacks work perfectly. Measures 7/8" wide. Weight is 12 grams. Signed and hallmarked "HA 940 Taxco. Excellent vintage condition.

Circa 1940-1945, this pin was produced by Los Castillo. It's an early piece which was designed by Margot van Voorhies Carr / Margot de Taxco. This is a superbly crafted piece, showing a koi fish swimming atop a blue glass stone which is filled with bubbles...

Monumental sterling cuff bracelet with a beautiful design of twisted silver loops and arched terminals by Mexican designer Carmen Beckmann. This early Matl pin is an exceptional piece, with a beautiful oval turquoise at front and center. The hand-wrought repoussé silver has a warm patina. Measures 2 3/16" x 1 1/4" at the center. Weight is 19.6 grams. Signed and hallmarked "Matl" in script. Closes with a "c" clasp. Collector quality.

These earrings produced by Hector Aguilar are a book-piece design, shown p. 87 Silver Masters of Mexico. They have a stunning deco design, with bell shaped pendants which are deeply incised. The recesses are oxidized, and 5 pendants dangle below. Screwbacks work perfectly. These measure 2 1/2" long, 1 1/16" wide. Weight is 19.4 grams. Signed and hallmarked "HA 940 Taxco" with the eagle assay 9. Collector quality.

A striking vintage sterling and center coral cuff bracelet by Navajo Kee Joe Benally, active since the 1950's, now deceased. He used only the finest materials and displayed a mastery of traditional and contemporary design. This bracelet measures 5 1/2" around in the inside plus an additional 1" opening. The center piece is 1 1/2" long and 1 1/8" wide. The terminals measure 3/8" wide. Weighing 63 grams, it is in fine original condition...

These mid-century earrings from Antonio Pineda are large and unusual. The primitive hunter design is said to have been based on the Lascaux cave drawings, used on several of his pieces. I have the matching bracelet in my shop. These dangle earrings are quite substantial, measuring 2" top to bottom, with a width of 1 7/16". Weight is 28.5 grams...

This bracelet is an iconic and exceptional design from Salvador Teran, with two glittering golden sheen obsidian stones set within eight point stars. It's collector quality, and shows up superbly on the wrist. Measures a closed, wearable length of 6 3/4" with a width of 1 1/2". Weight is 59.2 grams. One rarely sees this bracelet, and it is a killer gorgeous showpiece. Signed and hallmarked "Salvador Sterling Mexico", with the design # 156 and eagle assay 36.

This cross necklace was produced by Matilde Poulat in Mexico City between 1934-1948. It's an early Matl creation and an exquisite piece. At the center is a coral cabochon, surrounded by branch coral, turquoise, and pyramidal amethysts. The sterling silver chain does not open, measuring 25" long...

Circa 1949-1953, this is a very rare pin from Antonio Pineda, bearing his "Jewels by Antonio" hallmark. It's a superb piece, with two huge amethyst cabochons on either side of an "X", creating an OXO design. Pin closes with a roller. You can add a pin/pendant adaptor to hang this from a chain if desired. It would make a gorgeous pendant. Measures 2 3/8" x 1 1/4". Depth is 1/2". Weight is 33.8 grams...

This mid-century necklace is an absolutely stunning piece, with deeply incised swirling links, silver domes, and tiny silver beading. Exquisitely hand-crafted and collector quality. Looks fabulous on and lays perfectly upon the neck. No maker's mark, but the design itself, along with #54, indicate that this is likely the work of Reveriano Castillo.
