A very well constructed pair of sterling silver and pearl cufflinks by Jean Lasnier. He was a member of the Metal Arts Guild between 1951-64 with many of the well known studio artisans of the Mid Century Modern jewelry movement. The bracelet is made from a single long piece of sterling that hooks in the front around a mottled reddish-brown bezel set cabochon. It measures about 7 1/2" around and 1/4" wide. This handsome cuff features an abstract design of two concave asymmetrical bands, linked by a single narrow applied strand. It’s quite comfortable to wear, and is constructed with flattened edges at the terminals to ease the fit over the wrist. Under the lacquered finish there is a soft patina indicating age with some oxidation that adds character, including a fingerprint. The maker’s mark is partial and as yet unidentified. It dates about 1970...

Impressive in size this vintage Janna Thomas Mexican silver pendant is an example of the "pluma Azteca" technique which incorporates vividly colored bird feathers in sterling jewelry. Very reminiscent of plique-a-jour work, "pluma Azteca" was introduced by the Los Castillo workshop and it is a demanding, difficult process so it was emulated by just a handful of other Taxco maestros. Thomas excelled in it, however, and her pieces are sought after by knowledgeable collectors...

This lovely charm or pendant measures 1" x 3/4". It's greenish-blue basse-taille, enamel background brings out the red Pisces fish sign beautifully. It's set in sterling vermeil. The back is marked with the David Andersen scales maker's mark, D-A, 925 S, NORWAY-STERLING. It's circa 1950's and in excellent condition.

Large four link RUSSIAN NIELLO 84 silver bracelet(comes with an extra link), at least from the 19th century, could be older. Has three marks including "84" Russian silver mark. Each link measures 2" by 1 1/4" and the inside circumference is 7 1/2" around. The bracelet has not opening so is made as a bangle. However, there is an extra link that can be added.
