An unusual hand wrought brooch in the shape of a surrealist eye in thick hammered sterling silver with a brown gemstone bead for the iris. Has 2 layers of sterling, one more hammered then the other for an interesting contrast. The dangling brown bead moves and reflects on the sterling background.

Circa 1940-1945, this masterpiece from Los Castillo pulls out all the stops. The craftsmanship is magnificent, the design sublime. The prong set faceted stones are almost black in color, with brown striations which can be seen from the back of the stones. The design is full of swirls and tiny beading. Centerpiece has six dangles and measures 5 1/2" wide and 2 1/4" tall. Closed, wearable length is 17". Weight is 112.7 grams...

A heavy, organic design distinguishes this handmade Mexican ring from its contemporaries. The stone is set within a vine-like mount, and is highly polished, fiery, showing very little wear. The ring band and mount have somewhat of a rough, handcrafted look, and the surface has a robust patina from age. It dates c. 1960, and is partially marked Mexico on the inner band on one side, and 925 with another mark starting with M that could be for Mexico or the maker’s initials...

Sterling modernist star earrings by the famous NYC silversmith, Ed Wiener, c.1952. These hand made asymmetrical stars with recessed oxydized silver solid centers and shiny silver forming the raised outline of the stars are expansive and exciting. They measure 1 3/8" at the widest and are in excellent condition. The screwback was put over the mark, so you see "ED ST". This was a frequent occurrence and the complete mark is under the soldered screwback...

Beautiful design reminiscent of a Navajo rug pattern by Navajo Julian Nez who was the brother of Gibson Nez. Both deceased, they were highly noted for the exceptional precision of their work. This bracelet measures 5 3/4" around in the inside, plus an additional 1 5/8" opening, and is 1 1/4" wide. It could be adjusted by a skilled jeweler. Unique cone shaped deep Black Onyx stones are set along a swirl of smaller silver cones to create these fantastic modernist earrings in a style known as "Gladiator". This bracelet is truly beautiful. The central stone is bezel-set with a diameter of 1". The bracelet has a great mod look and good heft, as well. It would likely fit on a smaller wrist. It is in excellent condition.

This is a very rare bracelet from Los Castillo, executed in 980 silver. One of their earliest pieces before they added design numbers with their hallmark. At the center is a huge gorgeous amethyst cabochon, bezel set and surrounded by tiny beading. A vintage modernist sterling silver ring by Hans Hansen, designed by the Georg Jensen designer, Per Harild and crafted by the Georg Jensen silversmithy in Denmark.

Measures about a size 6.5-7. Somewhat adjustable due to the open nature of the design. Marked with the conjoined HaH for Hans Hansen, post 1945 mark for Georg Jensen, Denmark and 925S.

In fine condition. Minor scratches and nicks along the edges and a little tarnish. Thick sterling.

This abstract pendant features a person on a swing that can be seen from the front or back. It measures 2 5/8" long and 1 1/4" wide. Original chain measures 23" long and has a secure spring clasp. Chain is marked with the mark for Kultateollisuus, Ky, the Finnish National mark and 830S. Pendant is marked 830S for the Finnish silver standard, and Finland. Fine condition, minor tarnish.
