Here is an elegant ring featuring six faceted pieces of smoky quartz mounted in a star-shaped sterling silver setting. A central silver star sits at the top. The band is marked sterling, and the stones show no signs of wear. The ring is sized 5 ¾; it sits 5/8 inch high.

This lovely pin is by the Norwegian designers, Frank + Regine Juhls. It is convex with a cool mod design. Its diameter is 1 1/2" and it's 1/4" deep. The back is marked JUHLS and 925 S. It is in excellent condition.

These Antonio Pineda earrings have a silver wave design with emerald cut amethysts. Bearing the "Silver by Tono" hallmark which was used 1948-1953, this deco design is rarely seen. Each earring features four channel set amethyst gemstones, all well matched in color. The repoussé silver settings require the most skilled of silversmiths...

Fabulous wide sterling collar necklace with intricate design by Far Fan, Mexico, c.1947. The intricate hand cut design is brilliantly engineered so that one piece fits perfectly into the other. Quite wide, it measures 1 3/8" and is approx. 16" around the neck. It is signed "FAR FAN HECHO EN MEXICO DF 925 bellmark#13". Excellent condition and so very beautiful. One of the best Mexican designs by a very interesting early maker...

This Matilde Poulat necklace bears her earliest block hallmark "Matl", and dates 1934-1940. It's a rare and beautiful piece, and it's also collector quality. Exquisitely hand-wrought, and it lays perfectly on the neck. A wonderful necklace which can be worn easily with any outfit and occasion. Measures 16" closed, wearable length. Width is 3/4". Weight is 69.7 grams. In excellent vintage condition with absolutely no issues whatsoever.

A modernist 830 silver ring with a brutalist design from Sweden. Has 5 square shaped cut outs and contrasting textures across the top. The top is a raised disk that sits on 2 arms and measures 7/8" across.

Currently measures size 7, but is adjustable.

Marked with the three crowns national mark, 830 for the silver content and S for the silver standard.

Has minor tarnish. There are two tiny cut marks on the back of the shank.

Quality piece. Fine modernist design.

Beautiful antique French circa 1900 to 1920 long necklace or guard / muff chain in sterling silver with unusually large rock crystal stones, collet set, with a spring ring clasp attached to allow items to be hung from the chain. With the French boar’s head mark for sterling silver on the loop of the clasp. The connecting jump rings are all soldered. Inclusions can be seen in many of the crystals. The stones and settings are 11 mm in diameter and the stones are 10mm. There are 92 stones...

Circa 1930's - 1940's, this early Mexican necklace is an absolute work of art. Signed and hallmarked "Ingrid's Silver". Ingrid's was a shop which retailed silver and hollowware from various silversmiths, among them Jorge "Chato" Castillo. This necklace pulls out all the stops. It's a fabulous modernist/deco design, composed of alternating cylinders of amethyst and sterling silver. The center silver cylinder measures 1 13/16" x 7/8", with a depth of 5/8". The silver panels graduate in size...

I love zodiac jewelry and thankfully so did the old Mexican maestros! Yet over the years I have noticed that no matter what their form (rings, brooches or bracelets), they are being snatched up with increasing fervor. So saying that they are becoming more difficult to find would not be an understatement, especially for rings which are an already challenging area of collecting in the vintage Mexican jewelry world...

Beautifully detailed and dimensional gold washed 800 silver pin depicting old Roman scene of two women primping. Very sculptural, it has architectural borders and is cut on both sides as though taken from a larger sculpture. It is signed "800 with a maker's mark" and is in excellent condition. Measures 1 1/2" long by 1" wide and made of heavy gauge silver. Very interesting and unusual....$7 for insured USA shipping plus applicable NYS sales tax.

A sterling silver modernist brooch by the well known silversmith, Ronald Pearson. Measures 2 1/4" long and 1 1/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Marked Pearson Sterling on the back. In very nice condition with a little tarnish. Interesting crimped design.

Circa mid-century, here is an iconic book-piece design from Margot van Voorhies Carr, who shop and work is known as Margot de Taxco.

Margot's design # 5554 is an exquisite and intricately detailed hand wrought serpent bracelet. Melange enamel sits within tiny scales in the segmented articulated links...

Featuring bridge-like connectors and open rectangular links, this 1960s sterling silver link bracelet features an abstract design characterized by both lightness and visual heft. It appears to have a lacquered finish to keep the silver bright, and is marked 925 on the back of one rectangular link. Its unusual clasp continues the bridge motif, and points to possibly a European origin. It measures about 7 3/4 inches long by 7/8 inch wide. Weight: 36.2 grams
