This dramatic disk pin features a hammered surface decorated with applied wire in a stylized floral design. A framed dome graces the center and four applied beads enhance the edges of the wire work design. It has a secure trombone clasp and brass pin stem, both original to the piece. The piece is unmarked but tests definitively for silver, likely .800 or .830 and appears European in design. The pin measures 2 1/8 inches in diameter. Gross weight: 20.8 grams

This sterling silver & blue Nevada turquoise belt buckle was designed & signed circa 1950's by Native American Hopi designer Preston Monongye (1927-87). Buckle measures 3" X 2" & weighs 74 grams, 2.6 oz. The large Burnham turquoise nugget measures 1 1/2" X 1" and is in perfect condition. Monongye's 1950 hallmark is impressed on the reverse. This 2-1/8" x 1 1-1/2" modernist pin features what appears to be a rough mixture of azurmalachite inlaid in an undulating silver brooch. Very unique ring by Sam Kramer, the 1950s New York based jeweler whose "expressive, organic work and surreal workshop, located on West 8th Street in New York's Greenwich Village, paved the way for other mid-twentieth century metalsmiths, and for many more working today" (Toni Greenbaum). I believe this might have been a custom piece made for a musician, as I can't find anything quite like it in the literature or online...

This sterling silver necklace is composed of curved panels with recessed areas that divide each panel into three sections. The middle section remains silver; the outer sections have a copper and brass plating. The necklace is nicely made, with soldered links and a secure tongue–and-groove clasp. The back of one panel is marked with two circular Taxco sterling marks. The necklace measures about 17 1/2 inches long; it is a little over 1/4 inch wide. Gross weight: 54.9 grams

Very large, rare, and heavy gauge sterling pin by the famous woman Mexican silversmith, Victoria (Ana Brilanti), c. 1945. The original geometric Mayan design measures 4" wide and 2 1/4" long and the applied silver provides the exciting foreground against an oxydized background. The condition of this handmade piece is very good and is signed "VICTORIA MEXICO TAXCO SILVER #322". Very strong and wonderful piece....$9 USA insured shipping plus applicable NY sales tax.

Unusual mid-century modernist organist or brutalist panel bracelet. Clearly handmade and unique, as each panel is different from the next. Wonderful motion and dimensionality, as there are pierces, raised areas and spikes rising from the bracelet. Unsigned, tests as sterling. Measures 7" in length and 5/8" wide.

Mid-century silver and amethyst ring by Mexican Master silversmith Antonio Pineda. One of his very recognizable designs, perhaps you are fortunate and have the necklace, bracelet or earrings that match this ring. It is a size 5 1/2 - 6, weighs 11 grams, and is in fine original condition. There are no chips or cracks to the amethysts. There are inclusions under the surface of the stones as typical of amethyst. Signed as shown. Everything Antonio Pineda created is a masterpiece.

Very modern mid century pin earrings set stamped and signed STERLING REBAJES on the pin only as the moderne screwback earrings are just stamped Sterling on the turn wheels.
Rebajes' foreman was Otto R Bade and also made these in the same mid century modern style. This pair however, is made and marked by the former.
The pin is 2 5/8 X 1 1/2", the ears are 1". 1/2 Oz or 16 Grams...
