Large copper stylized ram's head pin made by Rebajes, c.1940s. The pin is in excellent and very clean condition. The pin measures 2 7/8" x 1 7/8".

We have a superb Los Castillo 18in. long necklace to offer today. The links are 1 3/8ths tall making for a striking presence. The stones have no cracks or chips and also have no striations that come to the surface of the amethyst. The color is a beautiful mix of milky swirl and jelly purple. Properly hallmarked as shown with the old linear mark for Los Castillo when Margot Van Voorhies was married to Don Antonio Castillo. Definitely a collectors treasure.

Signed by Graziella Laffi, the often referred-to as "Spratling of Peru" this bird brooch can also be found with blue enamel adorning its eye. Executed in all-silver in our case, with hand-etched and stippled details, I like to think of it as a pelican or even a seagull, maybe because she has used the same motif in necklace and bracelet form as well but combined with fish-shaped stations...

Carnelian bracelet and choker necklace, not a set, very Art Deco in design, each stamped signed: SYMMETALIC STERLING + 14K, mark first used in 1936 by the W. E. Richards Co. on their highest quality jewelry. Each displays concentric oval or round designs on each link. Very nice pre owned condition...

So-called "chain mail" jewelry is not uncommon in the world of vintage Mexican silver. One can find them in all forms, with or without stones, and in all widths, signed by known maestros and by less-celebrated makers as well. There is something very slick about this design, its interwoven "mesh" inhabiting quite comfortably both the Art Deco and early modernist worlds. The necklace at hand is an example of the narrower versions but very well made and with good weight to it...

An exquisite example of Italian Renaissance Revival jewelry that were so popular with tourists on their Grand Tour at the turn and first few decades of the 20th c. this long pendant necklace is the epitome of “figural”. This fine vintage clip / brooch features a 3-dimensional rose in gf surrounded by a floral design of sterling silver and clear rhinestones. We have a unique Los Ballesteros pectoral necklace with a drop of 2.75in.across and 2in. tall. The stone is a color changing synthetic that was widely used in the Spratling era by many tallers. The wearable length is just under 16in. Being a pectoral style the drop rests at just below the hollow of the neck and slightly tips outward making it very comfortable to wear. An extension is available if you desire to wear long instead of the pectoral length...

This is a very old pre 1948 Mexican silver bracelet that is in exceptional condition. The 5 stones are barrel cut amethyst with no cracks or chips. The underside shows many work marks. The barrels have no splits however there are reflections of light that may appear so. The bead work was also very taken care of without damage. The height of the piece is 1 1/8th inches. Marked SILVER MEXICO which I find to be made with quality and a weight of 65 grams...
