Lovely hand made sterling period arts & crafts period SEAHORSE set with pin and earrings, c.1920's. The pin and each earring are signed "TN(conjoined) STERLING" and are in excellent condition. A well crafted, hand wrought curved link necklace with a central pendant in sterling silver by Cape Cod gold and silversmith, Ross Coppelman. Marked Coppelman and Sterling. This is one of his early pieces before he starting working with gold and precious gems.

The lightly hammered necklace measures about 18" around, hard to get an exact measurement due to the shape and curvature of the links...

Figural sterling letter opener, by George Shiebler, Brooklyn,NY, c.1895. Has a Victorian/art nouveau figure of a winged draped nude female figure at the top of the curved dagger with "ER" script initials. Signed "STERLING S/wings(for Shiebler) 4292" and measures 4" long. Vermeil or silver gilt shoe buckle set with paste, the setting arranged as a ribbon with a stripe of green enamel. French, c 1770-80, no visible hallmarks, but traces of an old assay to ascertain the silver content. Length "3/ 7.3 cm. Condition: wear to the enamel and to the gilt of the prongs (cf. pics).

A vintage hand made sterling silver brooch with a swan motif by Carl Poul Petersen, the Canadian silversmith who signed his work with the stylized CPP.

He was born in Denmark, married Georg Jensen's daughter and apprenticed with him before moving to Montreal. He eventually opened his own workshop.

This beautifully crafted brooch measures 1 3/4" across and 2 1/4" high.

A beautiful Edwardian period sterling silver and amber faceted crystal bracelet. The citrene coloured stones are bezel set in rectangular 3/8" across links; the bracelet itself is 6-3/4" long. It has an engraved box clasp with an applied stamped STERLING planchet, and it weighs a total of 25.9 grams. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs and it has only the slightest signs of wear on the stone edges...

An absolutely splendid vintage sterling, 14k and deep red coral cuff bracelet by Frank Patania Jr. It comes with its original box with the Frank Patania Thunderbird logo on it. Measuring 5 3/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1" opening, it is 1" wide and weighs 84 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed a shown. A sterling silver modernist vintage pendant and chain probably from either Finland or Sweden. Marked with what looks like 'AKH' 830 and some other mark. Marked on both the bale and the clasp. Pendant measures 2 1/2" high and 2 1/4" across. Chain measures 19 " long and has a spring clasp that closes securely. Dark patina, cool design.

These Mexican silver dimensional floral earrings show great detail of the open flower. The size is 1.25 inches by 1 inch. Hallmarked as shown by DS and weighing 8 grams. These look like a perfect match to the clamper also listed on my site of the same flower. The presence of the earring on is a beautiful reflection. Condition is perfect.

A modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet by Charles H. Cole, born 1908 and active 1930s-50s. He signed his work with a face hallmark. The facial features spell out his last name. Also signed Sterling and ©. Measures about 6 3/8" around with an opening of 1" and 2 1/4" at the widest. Hand made piece. Thick sterling, heavy and substantial. Looks great on.

Superbly crafted, profusely decorated and visually powerful this early Mexico City repousse figural brooch is an a rather rare example of vermeil silver jewelry from the country's 20th c. Silver Renaissance. I will admit that I am not particularly fond of vermeil - I love the look and feel of aged silver without "enhancements" that make it look like something it is actually not. Yet there are those very very scarce moments when a piece like this shows up and it makes me reconsider...

Makers’ mark HE BA, Sterling 925 S and Swedish import marks (three crowns and S), weight 17 grams. Inner diameter "2 ½/ 6,5 cm. Condition: fine.

How often does one find a ring by renowned Taxco modernist Enrique Ledesma? Let me answer my question - almost never! Over the years of my buying, selling and researching vintage Mexican silver jewelry, I have come upon a few examples, almost all of them adorned with a color-change sapphire. I had never seen a ring in the design I am presenting here until I discovered this one some time ago...
