Rollover safety clasp holds securely. There is an area along the darkened edge that is textured, not sure if that is original or wear. Nice contrast of polished and darkened sterling. Interesting three dimensional feel.

A vintage hand wrought studio sterling silver necklace with a stone drop. Features curved links graduating in size culminating in a greenish brown mottled stone pendant. Measures approximately 19" long. Pendant measures 1 3/4" long and 1 1/4" across. Interesting way that the silver wraps around the stone to hold it in place. Clever hook closure that holds securely. The raised onyx eyes and silver are in beautiful condition. This exceptionally rare bracelet was designed & signed c. 1943 to 1948 by noted Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar. Each of the 14 panels measure 1 5/8" across & are centered with a tear drop shaped chrysocolla (crizacola) stone. Weighing 159 grams the bracelet has a wearable length of 6 3/4", a hook & eye closure & safety chain. In beautiful condition with an excellent patina the bracelet is hallmarked HA STERLING MADE IN MEXICO. The HA mark is double stamped...
