This mid-century, handmade pendant is decorated with an applied pinwheel motif. The chain is sturdy and has a secure spring-ring clasp; it is original to the piece. The pendant is marked sterling on the back and is nicely oxidized for a dramatic effect. Clasped, the entire necklace measures 13 ½ inches long. Weight: 40.5 grams

A sterling silver and turquoise pair of earrings circa 1930s. This 1-1/8" x 7/8" ecrewback pair of abstract design features what appears to be wings or a rayed feather and drapery style design with natural turquoise cabochons; they are marked only STERLING, they weigh 10.2 gr., and they are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...
Dating in the earlier period of Matilde Poulat’s extraordinary career, the cross pendant presented here is adorned with Matl’s favorite stones - turquoise, amethyst and coral. Inspired by Mexico’s rich folk art, it belongs in her daringly eye-catching series of “jeweled” creations but here, there is an additional motif that makes the pendant even more precious. Namely, the two small repousse angel dangles, facing each other in a kneeling position with lit candles in their hands...
This pin bridges mid-century modernist and Southwest aesthetics with its angular design and polished ceramic cabochon resembling turquoise. It’s marked 925 for sterling silver at one end; the original rollover clasp is very secure. The pin measures about 3 inches long by ¾ inch wide.
This is an early design from Margot de Taxco, and it is spectacular.
Composed of gorgeous repoussé swirls with tiny beading, this necklace lays perfectly. Closes with a tight and secure tongue in box. Collector quality.
Center measures 4 1/2" wide, 3 1/2" tall. Closed, wearable length is 17".

A hand engraved hinged sterling silver bangle bracelet circa 1940s 1950. This vintage retro bangle measures 7-1/4" in circumference, 2-1/16" x 2" across the interior wall, and it is 3/8" wide. It has a safety chain, a box clasp and it is engraved on one half. It has never been monogrammed, it is unsigned except for an 8 on the tongue of the clasp and it weighs 12.2 grams...
A heavy and wild sterling silver fish pin from the 1920s. This heavily cast vintage 1920s brooch is in the shape of a fish, it measures 2-1/2 x 1-1/2" and it weighs an impressive 14.1 grams. It has a c-clasp, it is stamped SILVER, and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. An early cross pendant in Sterling Silver with Coral, Amethyst and Turquoise by Matilde Poulat. Cross measures 1 3/4" wide and 1 7/8" tall. Marked MATL in script, Mexico, 925 and Pate 10670. Amethyst stone is faceted. Suspended on a 26" long Taxco hand wrought sterling chain marked with an Eagle #3, and the initials PCM. Fine condition, the colors of the stones are vibrant. Classic MATL design.
An antique silver - most probably sterling - watch fob with original chain and dog clip, this sweet little find is, I believe, from the late Victorian / Edwardian period. There is nothing mundane about it either - I find the basketweave ribbon that runs the fob's perimeter at the waist eye-catching as well as the wire-work above it. Both elements enhance the orb's sculpturality which is, of course, underscored by oxidation and patina...

A delicate sterling silver floral bracelet with faceted red stones, probably Garnets, by the Chicago silversmith Bjarne Meyer. Lightly hand hammered silver. Bjarne Meyer later worked for Georg Jensen, USA. Measures 6 5/8" around and 7/8" wide. Marked Sterling and Handwrought by Bjarne. Hook closure holds securely. Warm patina, fine condition. Wonderful example of Arts and Crafts silver work.
A vintage early sterling silver heavy brooch by Hector Aguilar.
Signed with the conjoined HA, Taxco and 940 for better than sterling silver. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949).
Measures 3 1/2" across and 3 1/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. The brooch has some minor tarnish and surface scratches.

A vintage sterling silver hammered cuff bracelet made by the Gaylord Silvercraft in Wallingford, CT. The Gaylord Farm Sanitarium was active from 1923-1944 and was organized by William Waldo Dodge. This bracelet measures about 7 3/4" around and 3/8" wide. Marked Sterling, Hand Wrought and with an impressed upright hammer flanked by two wings for the maker. Fine work, quality piece.
