This signed, handsome and distinguished pair is more than fine looking: a heavy rectangular face with polished, horizontal bars that alternate with dark grooves (I believe enamel, rather than oxidized). Next is the Sigi-esque enhancement of a surmounted, polished boomerang. One cuff link is marked Sigi TASCO (each inside connecting ovals) and numbered 38 (or 33). The other cuff link is stamped STERLING HECHO IN MEXICO with an eagle mark of number 96 (the Sigi Pineda eagle stamp)...

One of the better known "less celebrated" maestros of Mexico's 20th c. Silver Renaissance, AEM (or, as I like to refer to him, AE Heart because of the heart-shaped M that hugs the signature's other two initials) lived and worked in Mexico City. Of good weight and exhibiting very good craftsmanship, AEM's jewelry often emulate pieces by his more famous contemporaries but he created many original designs himself as well...

I am a big fan of Carmen Beckmann’s Etruscan style jewelry - her domed Etruscan ring is a foundational piece in my collection and I enjoy it thoroughly. There is something about the way the wire-work and tiny florets with their bead centers oxidize with time that creates an air of warm, comfortable luxury around them that gets me every time. I could easily see the dangle earrings at hand worn by dignified Roman matrons leisurely enjoying their honeyed wine...

Another Antonio Pineda masterpiece done in black onyx crescents. Very comfortable with 4.5 in. diameter which is approximately 16.5 inches of wearable length. Each crescent is 1.75 inches at the widest point. No damage or repairs. The matching Pineda bracelet is as well listed on my site. It does have a patina that has not been touched and buyer can make it their own. There is 114 grams of stunning design, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Handmade, large modernist sterling and amethyst ring signed "KRUP", c.1960'S. It is size 6 and made of heavy gauge silver. The front measures 1 3/4" tall by 1" wide, so is quite large in dimension. A rare heavy sterling silver brooch by William Spratling, Taxco. Measures 2 3/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. Marked with the WS in a circle incised mark, Silver Mexico and 925. Has a slight dent to the center and is missing the rollover part of the clasp. A rare find for the collector.

This mid-century necklace produced by Antonio Pineda is a book-piece design, shown in "Silver Seduction : The Art of Mexican Modernist Antonio Pineda". It's a sleek, stunning, modernist piece, composed of twenty-seven interlocking angled chevron links. It's a thick and very substantial necklace which lays comfortably and perfectly on the neck Weight is 165.4 grams. Right about 15" closed, wearable length...

I acquired this pair of Miguel Melendez’s hinged bangles as a set some time ago and after long deliberations, I decided that they should continue in life as such. Miguel is one of Taxco’s modernists yet he honed his skills at Spratling’s Las Delicias and working for Margot de Taxco for many years. This specific design is a favorite of mine’s by him - it brings to mind rock formations and I love the interplay of negative and positive space...

A signed Thomas Kerr Ebbutt galleon sailing ship sterling silver pin or brooch fully hallmarked for Edinburgh, Scotland 1959. It has the Ebbutt maker's mark (in use from 1937-69), it weighs 7.5 grams and there is a ribbon below the Viking style ship which has never been engraved. It is also stamped SOTLAND (sic) and it has an etched identification date from a previous owner. It has a safety clasp and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This lovely, sterling silver, leaf-link bracelet bears the Felch & Co hallmark, indicating it is c. 1940. It is a fine example of The Danecraft Corporation’s signature foliate creations. An Art Nouveau gilt sterling silver rose pin 1890 1900. As was typical of the sterling high relief hollow brooches of this period, the back is flat. This 3/4" across pin closes with a c-clasp, it is stamped STERLING, and it is in excellent condition with no dents, cracks, losses, corrosion, repairs or damage. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use...

A modernist 830 silver ring with a brutalist design from Sweden. Has 5 square shaped cut outs and contrasting textures across the top. The top is a raised disk that sits on 2 arms and measures 7/8" across.

Currently measures size 7, but is adjustable.

Marked with the three crowns national mark, 830 for the silver content and S for the silver standard.

Has minor tarnish. There are two tiny cut marks on the back of the shank.

Quality piece. Fine modernist design.

This is a spectacular set of necklace, pin, and earrings which were produced 1930's - early 1940's in Mexico. The design is one which originated from Fred Davis, and also one which is very seldom seen. This set does not bear the FD mark from Davis, but is simply hallmarked "Silver Made in Mexico"...

A vintage hand made sterling silver brooch with a swan motif by Carl Poul Petersen, the Canadian silversmith who signed his work with the stylized CPP.

He was born in Denmark, married Georg Jensen's daughter and apprenticed with him before moving to Montreal. He eventually opened his own workshop.

This beautifully crafted brooch measures 1 3/4" across and 2 1/4" high.

Marked on the back CPP, Sterling and Handmade.

Has an earlier style hinged 'C' clasp that holds securely...
