A modernist pair of pierced earrings in sterling silver, Calliope, designed by Zoltan Popovits for Lapponia Finland in 1978. These earrings feature an organic plant like design. The polished edges are in contrast to the textured surfaces.

They measures about 1 1/2" long and about 3/8" at the widest.

They are marked Lapponia, 925 and what looks like the town mark for Helsinki on the backs. The clutches are marked the same way...

Sweet, romantic and so appropriate for the time of year, this vintage Mexican silver "row of hearts" bracelet bears the signature of the Los Castillo workshop and is crafted using the "mozaico Azteca" technique. Unusual and elegant vintage thin sterling cuff with bone shaped segments by the Mexican silver workshop Los Ballesteros. This bracelet measures 5 1/2" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/4" opening. It is about 1/8" wide and weighs 26 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. Looks great alone or can easily blend and be stacked with other Mexican, Native American, Scandinavian or Modernist pieces.

Three vintage sterling silver brooches by Hans Hansen, Denmark are available.

The first brooch was designed by Bent Gabrielsen. Measures about 1 3/4" across and 1 3/8" tall. Marked with the conjoined HH, 110 for the design number, Denmark and 925S.

The next one measures about 2 1/8" long and 1 1/4"wide. Marked with the script signature, Denmark and 925S. Part of his 'Modern Line'. Nice contrast of an oxidized background and polished sterling...

This is a STERLING LEONORE DOSKOW PENDANT with the number 1 nicely Crafted. The size is 2 3/8" tall (including the finding for the chain at the top) X 5/8" across at the base. Clearly marked: 1977 STERLING/ LEONORE DOSKOW, INC. The Sterling Chain is included. EXCELLENT Condition

Measuring a size 4 on a ring sizer, this delicate sterling silver ring is an unusual estate find that is approximately 40 years old and said to have been purchased by the original owner in a scrimshaw shop on the coast of Maine.

Marked "STERLING 9" on the back, this ring features a very delicately etched trio of blue flowers. The ring is also initialed "W" by the artist on the lower front of the ivory- an exceedingly tiny signature!

A lovely estate piece!

A charming and intriguing bracelet by Japanese designer and jeweler Miye Matsukada (1922-1981). She worked from her store on Newbury St. in Boston from 1950 until her death. The links appear to have design influence from her country of origin. Measuring 7" end to end , it is 1/2" wide and weighs 19 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. A very delicate and lovely bracelet.

A vintage MCM large sterling silver sun brooch or pendant by the Talleres Monasticos Monks who signed their work EMAUS.

This stylized sun measures 4 1/4" high and 4 1/4" across. Has a large bale so can be worn on a thick chain or neck ring collar. Also has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. There is a little pitting on the pin part.

Marked EMAUS 925 and Eagle #3 on the bale. There are also some initials that we can't read...

A Vintage Modernist abstract clamper cuff bracelet made of Sterling Silver signed Zagal Tasco. Measures approximately 7" around and 1 7/8" at the widest. Marked Zagal, Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, and Sterling on the inside. Marked with eagle #3 also. In very fine condition. Some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Heavy and well made. Spring is tight. Great organic design.

A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch by Anton Michelsen, from Denmark. This three dimensional brooch has a raised 'sun' in the center surrounded by 7 stars.

Measures 2 5/8" across and 2 5/8" high. Weighs 20 gr. The surfaces of the stars and the center of the sun have a light gold wash for an interesting effect.

Marked with the AM under a crown hallmark of the silversmith and Sterling Denmark.

Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Silver has a warm patina...

Sized for a man (yet resizable by a jeweler to fit a woman as well) this vintage Mexican silver and carved amethyst "mask" ring attracted me with its unusual brutalist setting. I don't think I have ever encountered a "mask" in a brutalist ring and I was quite thrilled with the discovery despite the fact that the stone was showing its age and the shank was burdened with a huge blob of solder thanks to somebody's clumsy attempt at resizing...

This great ring is a size 10.5 (men's). It has a fine, large, bezel set tiger's eye stone (7/8" x 5/8" x 3/8"). It is marked 925 LBL MEXICO. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

Sleek and elegant sterling hand made Danish pendant with a gorgeous oval malachite. This is an expertly crafted piece with the textured reverse also being an eye catcher. This measures 2 3/4" long and 1 1/2" wide. It is in fine original condition with no chips or cracks to the stone. Could be worn on a chain or any size neck ring. Signed Denmark, a makers mark that I am not able to make out,925S,Sterling and Handmade. Mod and wonderful.

A vintage modernist sterling silver ring from Finland by Pekka Piekainen for Auran Kultaseppa Oy. Wave design. Thick, solid silver. Measures almost 1 1/4" across the top.

Marked for Auran Kultaseppa Oy, Finland silver standard, 925, Town mark for Turku, and U7 for 1973 on the bottom of one edge. Also marked with the maker's mark and Finland on the opposite side. About a size 6.5.

In very nice condition with minor surface scratches and some tiny nicks along the edges...

This abstract pendant features a person on a swing that can be seen from the front or back. It measures 2 5/8" long and 1 1/4" wide. Original chain measures 23" long and has a secure spring clasp. A large sterling silver brooch by Taxco artisan Enrique Ledesma with a dark green elongated stone. Measures 2 3/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. Marked on the back Ledesma, Mexico, Taxco, 925, BB, Eagle #3 and design number 289. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Has a hairline on the side which doesn't go all the way through.
