This bracelet was signed and crafted by Enrique Ledesma with obsidian stones. Ledesma was known during the Spratling era to be expert at the stone inlay work. This bracelet is one inch tall and 7 inches. long. There are no cracks, dents or repairs as it has been a well cared for treasure. The weight is 68 grams heavy and shows itself with a rich presence that can be worn with anything.

Composed of curved openwork panels formed as highly stylized bird heads, possibly eagles, with a pre-Columbian influence. The tongue-and-groove clasp is original and very secure for this substantial bracelet. It is bears the circular mark for Pedro Castillo, who worked for Spratling and Aguilar in the 1930s and started his own taller in the 1940s (per Bille Hougart’s ‘Little Book’ of Mexican silver marks, p. 41)...

Here is a solid, well crafted sterling bracelet with greens stones(perhaps turquoise but probably chrysocolla- not tested). With partially obliterated marks, it appears to be 950 sterling. The clasp is a bit tricky - it snaps shut, but to open, one needs to press down on the turquoise cab while pressing the bottom of the box clasp to release the locking mechanism.Measuring 8" x 3/4", it weighs a hefty 84grams.

Being offered is a rare circa 1955 sterling silver and obsidian stone bracelet by Alfredo Villasana of Taxco, Mexico. The handcrafted thick gauge silver cuff set with a large round obsidian stone secured by four spiral prong settings, secured with box clasp. Villasana worked for William Spratlng and Hector Aguilar before opening his own shop in Taxco. Dimensions: Size 8”; stone is 1 3/4" by 2 1/4"; band is 3/4" wide. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition.

Rare and magnificent 970 silver and amethyst bracelet by Taxco master silversmith Antonio Pineda. It is comprised of concave hinged silver links with a center rounded rod of amethyst. Circa 1955-60, the bracelet measures 6 1/2" around in the inside, is 1" wide and weighs 122 grams.The slide in clasp is tight and secure as is the attached safety chain. A delicate but sturdily made openwork pin designed with a scrolled top set with faceted red glass. It has a modified C-clasp and is marked for .800 silver. There is also what appears to be the German word “geschützt” (roughly meaning “registered”) and an intertwined mark that looks like an R within a larger G. The pin stem is of brass and is marked “Metall.” There is a tiny nick to the glass stone, visible only with magnification. The pin measures about 2 7/8 inches long...

Sterling modernist ring by silversmith Bill Tendler(1924-1981), NYC, c.1955. Bold architectural design using shiny silver columns set out from an oxydized background. The ring face measures 3/4" wide by 3/8" high and is size 4 3/4. The band has an interesting shape and is an integral part of the design. Formed as a square panel with rounded corners, featuring an incised seaweed-like design enhanced by oxidation, this Joseph Skinger design is called "Pine Needle." The pin has its original rollover clasp, which is quite secure. It is marked sterling and has Skinger’s script signature. Joseph Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. The pin measures a little over 1 3/8 inches square. Weight: 7.5 grams

A vintage modernist sterling silver bracelet by Hans Hansen, Denmark, designed by Karl Gustav Hansen with heart shaped links. This bracelet is design #237 and has the larger hearts and the earlier closure. This design was often additionally hallmarked with the Georg Jensen mark.

Measures 6 3/4" long and about 7/8" at the widest. The convex hearts curve slightly so the bracelet lays nicely on the wrist.
