This Norma jelly belly sterling duck with umbrella is 1 3/4" x 1". It is hallmarked Norma and sterling. He has a red rhinestone eye. Lucite jelly bellies were copied from figurals originally done in gold and rock crystal.

A sterling silver heavy brooch with a floral overlay of hammered sterling by Georg Jensen USA. Measures 1 3/4" long and 1 1/2" across. Marked USA Georg Jensen Inc. Sterling Handwrought and 451. Closes with a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Has a little tarnish. Pin on the clasp has a slight bend in it. Well made, delicate hammering. Rare design.

Each of the 14 panels measure 1 5/8" across & are centered with a tear drop shaped chrysocolla (crizacola) stone. Weighing 159 grams the bracelet has a wearable length of 6 3/4", a hook & eye closure & safety chain. Early hand-made sterling and jade ring by Sam Kramer, NYC, c.1948. The front measures 3/4" by 1/2" by 1/8" thick and the band is 5/16" wide. Made of heavy gauge silver with a small jade cabochon is is size 6 1/4 or 6 3/4 depending on which end is worn up. Classic design.

So-called "chain mail" jewelry is not uncommon in the world of vintage Mexican silver. One can find them in all forms, with or without stones, and in all widths, signed by known maestros and by less-celebrated makers as well. There is something very slick about this design, its interwoven "mesh" inhabiting quite comfortably both the Art Deco and early modernist worlds. The necklace at hand is an example of the narrower versions but very well made and with good weight to it...

Sterling and onyx Mayan face pin by Fred Davis, Mexico, c.1947. Davis managed Sanborn's for 20 years during this period. See pg. 23 of The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks. Since this is a classic Fred Davis design, this is his work. It is signed "22(Sanborn's bellmark number) MEXICO STERLING" and is in excellent condition. It measures 1 9/16" wide by 1 1/8" high. It's very rare to come across any jewelry by the famous Hubert Harmon making these fanciful and unique Earrings or Ear Cuffs a real treasure. Designed to wrap around the ear they feature a Wing and a Star at the top with three stars at the bottom, two of which dangle. They measure 5" long by 1 5/8" wide and together they weigh 26.7 grams. This necklace is signed Taxco 980 and while there is no artist attached to this work it is of exceptional quality. Thick silver, attached with rivets, and classic style set this Mexican silver necklace apart from others. It is 7/8ths inches tall for all three pieces. The weight is 92 grams for the necklace and 55 grams for the bracelet and earrings. The earrings have been professionally changed to pierced and the hallmark does show on their back side...

This is the "Bar Braid Pin" by Hector Aguilar featured on page 150 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny C. Morrill. She dates it circa 1940 and it is in 940 silver. Measuring 2 7/8" by 1/2", it weighs 13 grams and is in fine original condition. Signed as shown. One of his very famous designs.

A wonderful vintage bracelet and matching pair of screw back earrings from Taxco by Victoria ~ Ana Maria Nunez de Brilanti in her 'Double Shadowbox Angel' design.

The bracelet measures 7 3/4" long by 1 1/8" wide. It closes by inserting a pin through interlocking cylinders. The bracelet is marked on the back Victoria, Taxco, Mexico, Sterling, and Style #53. This is the heavier and wider version of the bracelet.

Earrings drop down about 1". They measure 3/4" across...
