A vintage modernist sterling silver heavy brooch consisting of three intertwined circles by noted Mid Century jeweler, Bill Tendler. Measures 2 1/8" across. Marked TENDLER Sterling. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Nice contrast of dark and light and thick and thin sterling. Well crafted, quality piece.
A substantial and heavily oxidized sterling bracelet by Jose Luis Flores. An apprentice of Spratling, Flores also worked in the ateliers of
Hector Aguiar,Miguel Martinez and Emma Melendez.
Signed Miguel in script, Taxco,Sterling JLF along with a slightly obliterated number.
There are faint scratches. The bracelet measures 7-1/4 x 1-3/8 and weighs 80.7gr.
Hallmarks date this Hector Aguilar cuff 1943-1948.
Measures 2 3/4" wide at the ends, inside edge to edge at the center is 5 3/4", gap is 1 5/8" at the center, 1 5/16" at the ends.
Weight is 114.6 grams.
Twenty-seven turquoise cabs are set in three rows.
Should fit up to a 6 7/8" wrist...
This exquisite Triplet Victorian double cameo shows high quality and Neo-Classical subject matter. Double cameos are rare to begin with. The soldier appears to be onyx. The white figure is part of the under layer of the soldier and both of these layers are on top of a carnelian. The mount is sterling. The size is 8 ¾.

Vintage Signed Sterling Silver 5 dome pin brooch with "C" catch marked: MAISEL'S STERLING for the Albuquerque New Mexico maker of Native American jewelry of years past. It is 2 3/8" X 1/2" @ widest, this being the smallest dome at 10mm while the mid one is 13mm. Slightest hint of a very shallow dimple that even the camera won't pick up and the "C" catch is a bit askew yet very secure.
Similar seen recently on Jane Russell in an old black and white western movie...
A contemporary of Matilde Poulat's, maestro M. Velazquez also worked in Mexico City and created jewelry primarily in the repousse style associated with the capital and Matl, its most famous practitioner. Velazquez was a true master of his art - his jewelry is bold and his repoussage confident, sculptural and nicely finished. The inspiration for the fish brooch at hand was obviously an ancient Maya or Aztec glyph or carving...

I acquired this pair of Miguel Melendez’s hinged bangles as a set some time ago and after long deliberations, I decided that they should continue in life as such. Miguel is one of Taxco’s modernists yet he honed his skills at Spratling’s Las Delicias and working for Margot de Taxco for many years. This specific design is a favorite of mine’s by him - it brings to mind rock formations and I love the interplay of negative and positive space...

Being offered is a fine one of a kind and a circa 1960 plateado silver necklace by Los Castillo, of Taxco, Mexico, comprising a collar necklace supporting a three tiered pendant with malachite & azurmalachite inset cabochons. Dimensions: 15". The horizontal sections are 1 3/4” deep by 4”, 5” and 6” long. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition. To call this necklace a statement piece, denigrates the pure beauty and importance of this exquisite piece of art!

These earrings a slightly convex and have a diameter of 1”. They are incised with a decorative, floral display. They are marked STERLING and have good heft.
This handmade wide band ring features a random design of molten drops on a textured surface. The irregular band shape has an upturned edge along the top, where the opposite edge comes to a rounded point. It bears the post-1967 Italian mark for silver, hallmarked for the city of Siena; the hallmark is double-struck, so the maker's number could read 722, 712 or something similar...
