Extremely rare and large sterling figural pin by Abraham Paz, Mexico c.1930. He designed for Fred Davis, so it is clear that this famous design was created by Paz. Here, we see a variation on a theme, with a man wearing a serape and holding a rope. The signature is RARE showing the Paz mark, which this antique dealer has never seen before. It is signed "CAP(stylized) HECHO EN MEXICO D.E. A.PAZ 0.925" and is in excellent condition. Of very good size, it measures 2 3/4" high by 1 5/8" wide...

This Mexican silver necklace weighs 65 grams and is 16in. long with each tulip being 1 1/8th inches tall. It is double signed as shown with TSL. Each tulip has hand made partitions that form the flower. Next the Maestro makes a tiny bead ball and centers it as the stamen to the bottom of the hanging flower. This was an intricate number of steps to build each flower alone and not to mention the swirl of the stem that attaches to the necklace...

This substantial necklace is composed of sterling silver cable chain decorated with applied, loose rings of twisted sterling wire. Each chain link has two rings attached to it, completing a sophisticated and intelligent design that evokes flexibility and movement. The necklace has a secure spring-ring clasp, and bears a flat link with the number 950 or 930 for silver content and what looks like L37. Unclasped, it measures 38 ½ inches long. These very rare earrings from Margot de Taxco are a curled ribbon design, with synthetic pink tourmaline stones dangling below. The stones are a star cut, and they are gorgeous. Measuring 2" tall and 15/16" wide, these show up beautifully. Signed and hallmarked "Margot de Taxco 5429 Sterling Made in Mexico", with the eagle assay 16. They have been converted professionally to clips, and they are super comfortable to wear and very secure. Weight is 26.1 grams. In excellent vintage condition.

Measures about a size 7.5 but may be able to be resized without affecting the hallmarks because they are on the side.

Also has London import marks, GJLd and the mark for London. The date mark is so small we couldn't make it out. In very nice condition with minor nicks and scratches. Can be worn facing up or down. Great modernist design.

This colorful, enamel and sterling silver charm / pendant has a diameter of 7/8" and is 1" high. It is a beautiful depiction of a wreath with its green enamel holly leaves topped by a red enamel bow and white enamel accents. In the center, the jingle bell is three-dimensional, moves and rings hallmarked STG JMF. It has a red glass clapper. The back is of this charm is marked STG JMF, as well, for The J.M. Fisher Company. A vintage modernist pendant by noted silversmith Emily A. Day in a three dimensional design. Pendant measures 2 1/8" long and 1 1/2" across. Chain measures 22" long and has a secure spring clasp. Signed EA DAY, Sterling at the bottom of the pendant. Has some tarnish. Nice weight and high quality. Very unique design.

A wonderfully crafted sterling silver brooch with leaves and cherries by the Chicago silver firm, Kalo. Measures approximately 1 1/8" across and 1" high. Marked Hand Wrought Sterling Kalo. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Beautiful condition.

Formed as parrots with flowing tails, with sharply molded detail. One clip mechanism is slightly loose, but both are in good working order, with a patent application number that dates to 1931. The backs bear the Los Castillo/Taxco/Made in Mexico marks, as well as the design number of 168A. Each bird measures 1 7/8 inches long by 1 3/8 inches at the widest part. Gross weight: 26.6g

A vintage large sterling silver Mid Century Modernist brooch by Ed Wiener in the shape of a five pointed star.

Made from thick sterling wire. Unsigned, as were most of his star brooches. We believe this one is the larger version.

Measures 3 1/8" across and 2" high.

Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. There may be a slight bend on the long arm, may be original to the piece. Has some minor surface scratches and tarnish.

(We will provide if requested.) The larger cabochon is an amethyst and the smaller dark red ones may be garnets. Signed on the back Gera, Israel and 925. Rollover clasp holds securely. Heavy and substantial. Wonderful piece of modernist jewelry.

This sterling silver bracelet is decorated with Francisco Rebajes’ signature leaves. Each leaf serves as a link to the alternating square panels. The brushed surface shows some tarnish, but hardly any signs of wear. The tongue-and-groove clasp is very secure, with the Rebajes and silver marks impressed on the top. The bracelet measures 7 inches long by 1 inch wide at the leaves. Weight: 49 grams
