This brooch features an ancient Celtic design: two birds (probably swans) with enameled wings, bodies and eyes, with interlaced silver above and below. The enamel is in red, blue, green, and white. It is marked 925 for sterling silver, and has several other marks which are illegible. 1-1/2” X 1-1/4”. There are a couple places where the enamel isn’t quite perfect – please see photos...

A vintage hand crafted 900 silver necklace and matching bracelet from Trabzon, Turkey with a mesh woven design. Both pieces have central etched floral designs on the clasps which were made to be worn at the front.

The necklace measures 15 1/2" long and 5/8" wide. Has a secure tongue slide in clasp. Curved so lays nicely at the collar bone. Marked 900 for the silver content...

A modernist sterling silver brooch with two raised sterling 'pearls' and a raised sterling bar by Sigi Pineda. Design number 54. Measures 2 1/2" long and 1 1/2" across. Marked on the back Sigi Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, 54, and Eagle #3. Safety rollover clasp holds securely. In very nice condition. Has minor surface scratches. Interesting contrast of oxidized and shiny sterling. A very beautiful brooch by a talented artisan.

Beautiful glittering sterling silver 1920s Art Deco bracelet with square cut openback unfoiled stones which are either lead crystal paste glass or rock crystal, prong set in frames with very soft repousse decoration on the backs. Early spring ring clasp made with a collar instead of a thumb tab. Clasp is marked STERLING. 6 3/4 inches wearable length and 1/4 inch wide. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. This is an antique Scottish silver pebble florette pin that is 2 1/4” in diameter and is heavy and really well made. The stones are MONTROSE grey striped banded agate, carnelian and bloodstone and the center piece is brandy colored cairngorn stone that is hand cut. Fabulous early silver necklace with round and baguette paste stones, and a huge cut glass center pendant framed by paste stones. 1900 - 1920. Possibly French. Not marked but tests positive for sterling silver. With a dainty slide clasp also set with stones. The square link side chain is made to fall slightly to the sides so the stones on the chain are visible from either side. From a Philadelphia estate.

A stunning vintage Mexican bracelet in sterling silver in the classic Fred Davis Chevron design. Featured in Mexican Silver, by Morrill and Berk on page 27. Measures approximately 7 7/8 " long and 1 1/8" wide. In very nice condition, has some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling. Has a box clasp that snaps securely. This elegant and stylish bracelet by Antonio Pineda features thick silver links set with an oval cabochon Amethyst stone on one side with a luminous Pearl on the other. A rare, stunning vintage sterling necklace and earrings by Modernist Joachim S'Paliu of Cordorba, Spain. Born in 1944, he produced a significant line of jewelry during the 1960's and 70's. This big, bold, neck ring and attached pendant opens and closes with a tight hook clasp on one side of the neck ring. Impressive in size this vintage Janna Thomas Mexican silver pendant is an example of the "pluma Azteca" technique which incorporates vividly colored bird feathers in sterling jewelry. A striking and colorful bracelet with sterling wire wrapped caged raw stones by Modernist Arthur King who had a shop on Madison Avenue in New York City in the 1960's. The stones include rose quartz, amethyst, clear quartz, and topaz. The bracelet measures 8 1/2" end to end but the hook clasp can be linked to an inner ring to make the length shorter and have the end stone dangle which may have been the intent of the maker. A three dimensional 916 silver brooch in an Arts and Crafts design by Holger Lindstrom, (1937-1968), Helsinki Finland. Has a concave oxidized center and four pointed onyx bezel set cabochons. There are textured recessed areas around each stone for an interesting contrast.

Decorated in Peruzzi’s rich iconic style, this elaborate pin features cast flowers and wirework elements applied to a scrolled frame. The back is marked for the Italian jeweler Peruzzi, Florence, and for .800 silver. The secure rollover clasp is original to the pin and in good working order. A striking vintage Mexican sterling pendant set with a mixture of inlaid lapis and malachite, with a large cabochon cut tiger eye gem in the centre c1950-60. A Scottish sterling silver broad axe pebble broadaxe pin brooch from 1880-1900. This late Victorian 2-1/16 x 3/4" pin features hand engraving and shaped green and red jasper stones in the shape of a Scottish traditional broad axe. Enrique Ledesma high sheen Mexican silver work of art weighing 50 grams and having a height of 7/8th of an inch. My pictures truly can not capture the beauty of this bracelet. In my hands the obsidian is BLAZING and I could not get one photo of it. There are reflections in the pictures, no loss or damage. An excellent example of Ledesma workmanship at a time before lazers were used to cut the jewelers stones.

A very unique hand wrought sterling pendant and chain with an amethyst drop.

Pendant measures 2 1/4" across and 2" high. Chain measures 18" long and has a secure hook closure. The opening is oval shaped so the hook will not slide out.

This necklace was produced by P. Ochoa in Mexico City during the 1930's - 1940's. One seldom comes across the work of this silversmith, whose work closely mirrors that of Matilde Poulat. This necklace is hand-wrought with a carved onyx face/mask sitting within a highly detailed repoussé headdress. The centerpiece measures 1 13/16" x 1 15/16". A vintage modernist 830 silver pendant by the noted silversmith from Norway, A. K. Pettersen whose work is signed with a stylized AKP.
