Not much is known about Industria Argentina, except that they produced exceptionally designed and crafted jewelry in the 1950s and '60s. This weighty silver ring is typical of their purist modernist aesthetic.

Size 6. Marked "Industria Argentina, Buenos Aires," and hallmarked 900 for silver fineness. Quite substantial at 11.9 grams. Excellent vintage condition.

This mid-century pin is the work of Los Castillo. It's a striking modernist design which is composed of two pieces connected with a rivet. The bottom hands and body swings freely with movement. Hand-wrought with intricate detail.

Bold, clean lines on this sterling and coral ring by Frank Patania. The center coral is a deep, dark Mediterranean coral at its best. Interesting handcrafted sterling silver ring with a biomorphically shaped tigers-eye holding a tigers-eye sphere. Size 8. Excellent vintage condition. Unsigned.

Constructed as mold-pressed disks with raised reserves and scrolled borders. The disks test as sterling; the removable bridge bars are marked sterling. All connecting rings are original, as are the bridge bars. Each disk button measures ½ inch in diameter. Weight: 2.8 grams total

Vintage Signed Sterling Silver 5 dome pin brooch with "C" catch marked: MAISEL'S STERLING for the Albuquerque New Mexico maker of Native American jewelry of years past. It is 2 3/8" X 1/2" @ widest, this being the smallest dome at 10mm while the mid one is 13mm. Slightest hint of a very shallow dimple that even the camera won't pick up and the "C" catch is a bit askew yet very secure.
Similar seen recently on Jane Russell in an old black and white western movie...

This great brooch is classic MIZPAH. It is decorative with a central, bezel-set, purple stone. It measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1/4". The back is marked MIZPAH withe the maker's mark (in 3 places). It is in excellent condition.

Silver and cornelian arts & crafts earrings by CARL RUOPOLI, a designer for Black, Starr & Gorham, c. 1930's. These rich earrings(for pierced ears) have the beauty of Georg Jensen designs - they are rich and decorative and each measures 7/8" square. Each is signed "BY C. RUOPOLI STERLING" and are in excellent condition. They may have been converted from screwbacks but the marks have not been touched........$10 for insured US shipping.

This lovely pin is by the Norwegian designers, Frank + Regine Juhls. It is convex with a cool mod design. Its diameter is 1 1/2" and it's 1/4" deep. The back is marked JUHLS and 925 S. It is in excellent condition.

A modernist pair of sterling silver screw back earrings by Charles H. Cole, born 1908 and active 1930s-50s. He signed his work with a face hallmark. The facial features spell out his last name. Also signed Sterling and ©. Screw backs are also marked sterling.

Measure about 1 1/8" long and 5/8" at the widest.

Hand made, you can see very light hammering. They are in a floral design with cascading tendrils. Screw backs hold securely. Fine condition, from a talented silversmith.

These collector quality mid-century earrings are a very seldom seen design from Hector Aguilar. These are gorgeous, comfortable to wear, and have great movement. Each earring has nine dangles, each tipped with a tiny silver ball. Screw backs work perfectly,. Measures 1 3/4" tall, 3/4" wide. Weight is 12 grams. This hand crafted silver box was designed & signed c. 1940's by renowned artist Hubert Harmon during his short time in Taxco, Mexico. This is a marvelous example of a period antique bangle bracelet crafted in sterling silver with channel set square paste gems. Detailed and fine engraving is scrolled along the silver work of the entire band. The clasp is a tongue and groove closure.

This is a lovely vintage Mexican silver folkloric necklace. The chain is a paperclip style and is closed with a simple hook. The flowers are open back repousse with gemstone beads of turquoise, coral and amethyst wired and tied off in the back. The birds are solid silver with the drop being 2.25in. across and 3 in. tall. A beautiful demi-parure consisting of a matching necklace and bracelet in gold washed silver with very big faceted opaline glass stones, prong set, and bezel set in the center of the necklace.
