Intricately constructed 980 sterling silver and amethyst pin or brooch designed and hallmarked (c.1930) by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Pin measures 2 5/8" X 2 1/4". Oval amethyst cab surrounded by raised Aztec figures and applied silver beads. Excellent vintage condition. No chips, or cracks to the stone. No dents or dings to silver. This is a signed JVC for Emma 3 piece PARURE with eagle. This bracelet is published in the book Mexican Silver by Morril and Berk. The silver base of the design is a whopping 3mm thick. The links to all the parure are .75in. wide. The bracelet is 7.5in. long and the necklace is barely under 16in. long. The weight is an incredible 130 grams. This colorful Alice Caviness peacock pin has gorgeous sterling silver openwork with enamel tail feather in bermuda blue, solft green and gold. The neck feathers are bright green with blue eyes and red crown. This peacock pin is hallmarked "Alice Caviness and Sterling Germany. This peacock is 1 3/8" square.

This is an ART NOUVEAU PIN with a LADY SEATED on what looks like a Bench in a Park or in a Naturalistic Setting. Size is 1 1/4" square at the longest. Marked on the back: STERLING FRONT; also note the Cutout STAR probably a maker's logo. This Pin has the OLD C CLASP which further helps to date this piece circa 1900 to 1915. Very Desirable and difficult to find ART NOUVEAU STERLING PIN.

Each earring is composed of two trapezoidal pieces linked by a squared U-shaped wire. The screw backs are original and in good working order. The backs indicate sterling and bear the mark of modernist designer Paul Lobel. The earrings show very few signs of wear. They measure 1 ¾ inches long by 1/2 inch at the widest part. Weight: 7.6 grams total

This is a rare Margot de Taxco Mexican Silver Necklace.. The necklace is truly a treasure. The necklace dimensions entail: a 61.5 gram weight, 15.5 inches long, and a 6 inch inside diameter. The earrings just sold. I do have another pair of fish earrings that will list shortly. Thank you.

A hinged bangle of irregular, wavy design, solidly cast, by prominent Taxco designer Erika Hult de Corral. The spring mechanism is in good working order, keeping the bracelet securely in place. The bracelet has a 6 ¾-inch inner circumference, and is quite comfortable to wear. It bears the maker’s ‘Ric’ mark, as well as the Mexican eagle mark for sterling. Gross weight: 53.5 grams

A stunning beaded necklace in carved genuine malachite with genuine coral spacers, with a beautifully detailed pendant in the form of a face or mask. Probably circa 1900 or 1910. Possibly Italian. The pendant is held in a silver frame; the slide clasp is marked 14K. From a Pittsburgh estate.

Wearable length is 17 1/2 inches. 1/2 inch wide at sides. The pendant is 1 1/2 inches long, 1 3/8 inches wide, and 5/8 inch deep. Excellent condition...

A mid century modernist pendant by the American studio jeweler, Paul Miller. This piece depicts a large bird constructed of layers of polished sterling with a curved wire overlay. One end becomes the bale.

The pendant measures 3 1/4" long including the bale and 2" at the widest. Marked Sterling and Paul Miller on the back. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches.

Currently strung on a silky black cord but could be worn on a chain or neck ring. Striking design.

Fabulous and glam clipback earrings in 900 silver with a gold wash, in Etruscan style with applied wirework and coin form drops. Marked 900. Vintage, from an estate, 1970s or earlier. 3 1/2 inches long and 1 5/8 inches wide. Excellent condition. All drops are present. Photos enlarged to show detail.

This great, large Taxco Mexico mod pendant / brooch measures 3" x 2 1/8". It has a cool geo shape with three dangles. It is sterling silver with inlaid azur-malachite: blues and greens. The back is signed with all hallmarks: STERLING TAXCO, AC, Cecilia in script, HECHO EN MEXICO, Tono in script and numbered 80. This lovely, colorful pendant and/or pin in excellent condition.

This is a wonderful brooch in sterling measuring 1 1/2 x 1 1/4" x 1/8". Characteristic of Clam pin with dark pearl in the middle. It has been said George W. Shiebler naturalistic motifs such as insects, animals, leaves and flowers. Scarce on the market and very collectible.

One of the techniques the Los Castillo workshop pioneered, “pluma Azteca” uses dyed bird feathers as inlay to adorn jewelry and other decorative items. Quite impressive in their colorful vibrancy, the feathers can also be vulnerable, especially when they are left exposed, resulting in a rather small number of “pluma” jewelry having survived over the years. The articulated torque-type necklace at hand is a wonderful exception...

A lovely Art Nouveau pendant worked in silver and 10K yellow gold. The pendant consists of an openwork triangular silver plaque with a pair of plique-a-jour enameled mistletoe leaves below a band of opals and above a band of brilliant green moldavites, themselves over a square-cut pink tourmaline suspending a semi-baroque pearl drop. The whole is suspended from a round brilliant cut pink tourmaline set in gold. The combination of colored gemstones is lovely and nicely accents the enamel...

Large scale modernist hand made sterling and cultured pearl ring, Israel, c.1960's. Center measures 1" wide by 13/16" long by 3/4" high. Measures size 7 1/2 but seems to fit size 8+ finger and is in excellent condition. Ring is signed "ISRAEL 925"......$10 for insured USA shipping.

A delightfully feisty-looking cat is featured in the French Art Nouveau brooch. We’re particularly fond of his enormously long whiskers that stretch the full width of the pin. The pin is stamped with French silver marks and with an illegible maker’s mark.

NOTE: The pin could be worn as a pendant with the addition of a bail to the back.
